Mutha Puaka of Petaling Jaya is a motorcycle collective that celebrates individuality, throwing middle fingers up to the hive-mind mentality prevalent in biker culture. The Hikari Riders brand by Noh Salleh is an extension of his personality as a custom motorcycle enthusiast, and though closely linked, the two names have never had an official collaboration until now.
The inaugural capsule collection of MPXHR is made up of three t-shirts and a weather-resistant coach jacket in two colorways – black and safety yellow – and features the two logos in a dangerous combination; like motor oil and petrol in a Molotov cocktail.
The products will be available from 1600 hours on 1 March 2019 (Friday) at the Mutha Puaka shop in The Gasket Alley, PJ, followed by its release online at muthapuaka.com the very next day. A limited-edition poster will be given to the first 50 customers, and you can get it signed by Noh at a meet-and-greet between 1600 to 1700 hours.
