Turning 36 felt happy, thanks to all these people who made this day extra special for me.
Asher, who insisted that it was his birthday too and sang "Happy birthday to Mama and Didi" and blew out my candles.
Ariel, who did a sweet painting of me and her, said I'm the best Mama in the world and designed a cute shrinky dink earring for me.
Angel, who did many beautiful paintings, gave me a small gift which was nicely wrapped up, wrote heartfelt lines in her card including "There is no other Mummy that I could wish for" and designed the other earring for me.
My parents, in-laws and grandma, for standing by me throughout the years and letting me know that no matter what happens in life, their love for me is constant.
Everyone else in the family, for always taking time to organise and catch up at gatherings. It's a bond that only grows with time and it's awesome to see how we love and enjoy each other's company.
My friends, who took time to meet up despite their busy schedules and made my special day so much more special, even if it was a simple meal and short karaoke session. I appreciate it so much.
Most importantly, the hubby who made effort to let me feel the ❤, who suggested a family BBQ and went the extra mile to make it happen, who took the kids and gave me a night's off, who made sure I had more than enough opportunities to make my bday wish this year. I received the love, thanks dear.
