Versatility speaks of CONFIDENCE

When the opportunity first came about for me to try out the Luxe Gems Eyeshadow Pallete by @bobbibrown, the first thought that came to mind was, ‘I don’t think I can do this yo… I don’t even use make-up that often!”.

Next, I googled the product to check out the colors. I thought to myself: “Nell, how are you even going to do this? You’re no make-up expert. You barely use any colors in your make-up apart from the occasional eyeliner…”.
.
Nothing but a whole bunch of self-doubt, can’t do’s, no-no’s. It’s so easy to lose your confidence whenever you’re thrown out of your comfort zone.

I then started to reason with myself. Why am I feeling this way? Should I shy away from something just because it is out of MY ordinary? Hell, NO.

I recalled how @liwei2717 dolled me up the day of my wedding. She’s a real make-up maestro. Why not make this a fun little project for us?

So here’s a super RARE appearance of me, experimenting with colors on my face. But I would like to talk about the deeper meaning behind it.

I chose to accept this as a challenge for me to step out of my comfort zone. Confidence is not just about being good at something you’re an expert in, it’s about daring to be bold. So go out there and explore!
