Vancouver indie feature film “John Apple Jack” seeks Asian Male ACTOR for the role of “JACK”, a Chinese-Canadian LEAD CHARACTER. NON-UNION. Shooting September 24th to October 6th, 2012. Director: Monika Mitchell. Producer/Writer: Rick Tae. Producer: Selena Paskalidis.
Logline:- When John discovers his sister’s fiancé is Jack, his childhood crush, passions ignite and his life spirals out of control... losing his job, his playboy reputation and his underwear -- all while rushing to the altar to finally confess his love!
Note: The film is a PG-13 romantic comedy
ACTOR must be comfortable with gay content, comedy and English fluency. Canadian Citizenship and BC Residency required.
JACK: Earnest, talented and lovable, Jack is a beautiful, puppy dog of a man. Having harbored a devastating crush on John since they were kids, Jack is in serious denial about his sexual leanings. With one foot on the altar about to marry John's sister, Jack is at a major crossroads - does he do the right thing or go with what's really right for him?
