由集編導演於一身功夫的蔡柏璋（2011/ 2018年受獎人）領隊，邀請美國外百老匯導演 Michael Leibenluft，專業中英翻譯程異Jeremy Tiang，以及雙語專職演員林微弋，一同探討翻譯及轉譯在跨文化劇場界所面對的挑戰。
翻譯劇本是否能跨越語言與文化的藩籬，忠實呈現原劇作家的心意呢？本次討論的主題，從翻譯本身的困難度，文字翻譯的背後，牽扯到的文化、劇場實踐與內容，到觀眾的期待與反饋，做一個深度的探討；同時也會討論到，在疫情持續蔓延的當下，我們特邀幾位曾經合作過的雙語劇場編、導、演員，分享過往實際參與製作的經驗，並適時以影片和照片輔助。

ACC Taiwan presents a bilingual inDialogue on theatrical translation across cultures moderated by Director Pao-Chang Tsai (ACC 2011, 2018), with Director Michael Leibenluft, Translator Jeremy Tiang, and Actress Wei-Yi Lin.
Join four theatermakers in conversation around how they create performances across disparate cultural and linguistic spaces. The artists will share how the process of “translation” is an ever-evolving and collaborative one: it can lie in the translation of a word, the movement of an actor, or the staging of a scene. The four artists will share video clips and photographs from past collaborations to serve as case studies on the artistry of balancing the gaps between a play’s creators and audience in different cultural contexts.
