Attempt to do my own maternity shot.. ⁣
At first we thought of hiring professional photographer but due to current situation i think best that we save some bucks for baby arrival and do our DIY maternity shots.. ⁣

I know that it makes a difference if we hiring professional photographer but i really don’t have mood to research for maternity shoot photographers 😔 ⁣
But i decided to invest on portrait lens instead, anyway we are going to use more portrait lens to take baby photos in the future..⁣

Somehow i prefer nature background for maternity shot instead of indoor/ studio ones.. So we made a trip to Jurong Lake Garden for grassland (aka. Lalang) shoot.. ⁣
Brought whatever random props i could find at home, the flowers are leftover from my wedding almost 8 years ago! ⁣

Instahubby in action again ♥️ Last #ootd of the decade! I remember starting the year saying I wanna make sure I take more photos this year. First half of the year wasn’t very successful cos I was pregnant and taking photos was a very tiring thing to do. Still I’m glad I pushed myself to do it and squeezed in bump shots every few weeks and a maternity shoot with @capturedgladness too! And now it’s even harder cos @boon10 literally has to handle two boys and a camera while taking photos for me! This shot? It was taken when both boys are asleep in the car. We literally parked by an alley in the neighbourhood, with @boon10 standing by the car door snapping away real quick before the boys woke up from their naps. Gone were the days where we had the luxury of hunting down the most photogenic ootd background, but I ain’t complaining. If anything, parenthood has made us a lot more creative and helped us optimise our time by 1000% 😂 Thank you for all the photos you took this year, my husband. You’re the best photographer in the whole wide 🌏.
