The name "Mamagoose" should not be new to those who frequent Hin Bus Depot, the brand made its first appearance in the form of food truck but has since moved into a shop with proper restaurant setting. The brand specializing in Taiwanese delights has since garnered an appreciate following- with regulars keep returning for its Taiwanese Beef Noodles and Dumplings. The menu has slightly expanded- with more stir fry options available. Price points are mid-average but the above-par food quality and comfortable homey dining atmosphere (but does not seem to be able to accommodate big groups) are some of the good reasons why you should check out this place.

品酒聖地Auckland
同你講好短去一個地方旅行,
然後話自己了解個到好多一定係呃狗你,
我自問就唔係好了解好多地方,
所以都會通常會做定research,
其實,我係去感受下唔同地方,
所以我唔會話自己係旅遊達人,
最多話自己係去玩達人😂
我都仲知醜,唔係呀豬呀狗有隻腳就叫旅遊達人。
講開有個地方,其實我想explore好耐,
可惜每次去到都只可以留好少時間,
連訓都唔夠時間。(其實我本身個人要訓好多先夠)
Auckland奧克蘭,
Downtown勁細,但佢既郊區真係好大,
如果唔怕悶鍾意山山水水,其實係一個好岩移民既國度,
因為當地人好好(我覺得),不過有啲慘既就係當地物價同澳洲一樣,
俾移民先驅搞到乜都貴哂,
但比澳洲黎講係無咁歧視,不過依家武漢肺炎後就好難講。
Auckland既郊外名勝我去過一個,
係好容易就去到既Waiheke Island,
Auckland基本上要去既名勝都係位於好遠既郊外,
所以我搵左個唔使揸車都去到既地方,
中文叫激流島!
Waiheke Island係downtown個Ferry Terminal Pier 2搭大約40分鐘船就會去到,
如果你追求刺激行程既話,Auckland真係唔岩你去,
但如果你鍾意飲酒既話,Waiheke就真係岩哂你,
因為佢地有好多酒莊,天然地理環境好適合種提子,
我記得個時第一次見到啲靚提子口水都流埋,
最重要既係好多酒莊只要俾少少入場費都有試酒,
10幾蚊紐紙就可以飲佢menu上既飲,開開心心又1day。
只要買張hop-on hop-off既乘車券,島上所有巴士都搭得,
佢地有time schedule,唔好好似我咁柒,
因為miss左班巴士,行就要行好耐,
大家可以隨便去唔同既酒莊對比下有乜分別,
早啲去,因為Auckland啲野好早收。
去完酒莊都可以照翻到downtown遊走下,
反正都無乜野睇,
Downtown有個Sky Tower好出名,
可以望Auckland全境,仲可以係入面間餐廳食野,
仲有賭場,不過我對呢啲全部無乜興趣,
因為好多地方都有類似既野,所以我寧願用下啲錢去下food truck買burger就算,
順帶一提,Auckland有樣野我好鍾意食,
就係mussels,每次去我都會去餐廳食,
雖然我會俾人笑我依家無人特登再去食mussels,
不過我覺得Auckland d mussels大隻肥美,
比其他地方既好食得多多聲,
有機會大家去Auckland不妨試試🙌🏻

Revisit the popular Chinese restaurant at Yugawara station! I visited "Ichiban-tei" in Yugawara, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is a shop located 3-4 minutes after exiting the ticket gate of Yugawara Station. The store is close to the station and has a wide variety of menus, so it's always a great success for customers. The appearance of the restaurant is new, but its history is surprisingly old, and it seems that the restaurant originally started in 1951 from a truck cafeteria named "Ogotatsu". A few years later, he opened a 24-hour store in Mishima, which was rare at the time, in order to support postwar Japan with food. Such a spirit leads to the store's commitment to the menu and manufacturing method, and it seems that the dumplings on the signboard menu will start to be prepared at 2:30 in the morning, and the skins will be made in-house and wrapped by hand one by one every day. In this episode, we headed down to The Goodburger at Coronation Plaza to beat an Undefeated 20 x 20 Impossible Burger Challenge! The Goodburger is a food truck that serves up Impossible patty burgers and vegetarian sides like nuggets and fries. Food trucks are already uncommon in Singapore, but one that serves plant-based meat and has an entirely vegetarian menu is particularly unique. They even offer vegan options for their burgers. Completing the challenge within 20 minutes makes the food free, but failure means you have to pay upwards of $100 for the meal. Goodburger has made this an official challenge for the public, so please come down to beat my timing and get a free meal to boot.
For this challenge, all 4 of the burgers that Goodburger offers were carefully skewered into a gigantic tower with each burger supercharged with 5 patties, making it a 20-patty burger. On top of that, onion rings, fries, churros and nuggets were piled around the tower, forming a formidable challenge.
The Impossible burgers were excellent, with the Classic being a standard cheeseburger, Black Tie having truffle aioli and rocket leaves, Happy Days with onion rings and BBQ sauce, and One Night in Bangkok being Thai-inspired with a lemongrass-galangal flavoured sauce. The burgers were indistinguishable from your standard beef burgers in sight, flavour and texture, with the centre of the patties still being pink. I am hard-pressed to think of a beef burger at the same price range that I would consider superior to Goodburger’s burgers. What really brought together the burgers were the special sauces used for each type which elevated the Impossible patties greatly and gave each burger a distinct character.
The sides were decent. I originally thought the nuggets contained meat, but to my surprise it was entirely vegetarian. The onion rings and fries were crisp and well-seasoned although they needed a dipping sauce that I was not offered. The churros had the signature cinnamon-sweet flavour to them that was not overly strong and were appropriately crispy on the outside while chewy in the middle.
I completed the challenge in the nick of time at just under 20 minutes. It was not as easy as I thought it would be and I was also enjoying the challenge a bit too much. The “meat” is entirely plant based and the authentic red beef colour comes from an identical chemical extracted from soy plants. According to Impossible Foods, this alternative uses 95% less land and 85% less water than the equivalent beef production, while still not comprising on taste. Head down to The Goodburger for excellent guilt-free burgers!

We wanted to try something inspired by street food so we created this dish.
Crispy and chewy, the melted cheese flows out for a delicious taste!
If this was on the menu of a Yatai food stall or a food truck, we would definitely order this dish.
We think this would be even more tasty if jalapeno or something else spicy was added!
*Recipe*. (Makes 20)
1. Make cross-shaped cuts in 250 grams of May Queen potatoes and wrap in plastic wrap without while still wet.
2. Heat in a 600 watt microwave oven for 4.5 to 5 minutes.
3. Peel and crush with 20 grams of butter and a pinch of salt.
4. Mix in 5 grams of milk and 60 grams of corn starch.
5. Cut two pieces of "sakeru cheese (string cheese)" into 20 equal pieces. Reserve 40 grams of pizza cheese.
6. Wrap one piece of string cheese and 2 grams of the pizza cheese with the potato mixture and roll into a ball shape.
7. Deep fry in 180 ℃ oil for 3 minutes
8. Done. Just like a dish at a Yatai food stall.

屋台やフードトラックにあったら絶対に頼んじゃうと思うな。
ハラペーニョとかの刺激があったらもっと美味しいかも!
と思ってたらtrader vic'sにそういうのあるみたい。
全然ストリートフードじゃない。
*レシピ*(20個)
1.洗ったメークイーン 250gは十文字に浅い切込みを入れ、濡れたままラップに包む。
2.600wの電子レンジで4分半~5分ほど加熱する。
3.皮を剥き、バター 20g、塩 ひとつまみを加え潰す。
4.牛乳 15g、片栗粉 60gを加え混ぜる。
5.さけるチーズ 2本は20等分に切る。ピザ用チーズ 40gを準備する。
6.15gほどの4で5のさけるチーズとピザ用チーズ 2gを包みコロコロと丸める。
7.180度の油で3分ちょい揚げる。
8.でけた。屋台で売ってる風ですな。
