What a significant race it turned out to be for Lewis Hamilton as he leads the driver standings for the first time! Poor Nico had a problem with his steering wheel and retired from the race early. Red Bull Racing thus occupies the rest of the podium with Sebastian Vettel scoring his best finish this season. The race itself was pretty uneventful I feel, just one safety car due to an exploding nose, but no crashes, no fires, less drama from previous years. Still, I will the goosebumps I get when I watch videos of the Singapore Grand Prix and the extra heart-pumping when I hear the cars on the grid as the five red lights go out, tells me how much I love this sport and how proud I am that Singapore hosts such a world class global event! #formula1 #f1 #grandprix #racing #singaporegrandprix #singaporegp #mercedesgp #mercedes #f1nightrace #f1sg #lewishamilton #driver #paddock #redbullracing #sebastianvettel #worldclass
