Alvin Tan 陈圣辉 and Rahayu Mahzam were sworn in today, as Minister-of-State and Parliamentary Secretary respectively, in the presence of President Halimah Yacob and their family members at the Istana.

Their experience from the private sector, Alvin in social media and digital media industry and Rahayu in law, together with their work in grassroots and volunteer groups, will stand them in good stead at their respective ministries: Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth - MCCY and Ministry of Health, Singapore. – LHL

Baey Yam Keng 马炎庆 and Eric Chua were sworn in as Senior Parliamentary Secretary and Parliamentary Secretary respectively today. Happy to witness them make their affirmations before President Halimah Yacob, in the presence of their families.

Both Yam Keng and Eric have already started work – Yam Keng at the Ministry of Transport, Singapore, and Eric at the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth - MCCY and MSF Singapore. I look forward to their contributions through their political appointments and as MPs. – LHL
