Self-love is paramount to me, and especially so after giving birth. I feel so dejected when I look at my disfigured postpartum body, but hey, it is this body that has grown and given birth to a precious life.
When I feel demoralised, I’ll look at Eli, and remind myself that these scars are my battle scars which I am proud of. They show how strong I’ve been and all that I’ve overcome.

Practicing self-love today is all about going easy on yourself and knowing the smallest things can make the biggest difference. There’s no right or wrong way to self-love. Every act of self-love, no matter how big, is brave and daring.
