Went to collect my Mumsclub babybox today at Mount A! Luckily, I manage to collect before the rain came.

For more than 75 years, Finland's expectant mothers have been given a Baby Box by the state that serves as a starter kit for their new baby. It contains clothes, blankets, and other newborn necessities, and the Baby Box itself--which is lined with a mattress--is used as the child's first bed.

How do we get our kids to be really close to each other ? Many parents asked me this question as their children are always fighting among themselves ...
My answer is they are children and it’s normal for kids to argue and fight but there should be boundaries ...
When Tasha was born we made sure we give equal love to Bella as not to isolate her and being felt left out . We even bought gifts for Bella telling her it was from baby Tasha when we first brought her home after delivery . It’s normal for the other sibling to be left out or even jealous when a newborn arrives in the family. Create love in the family . Encourage the siblings to love and hug each other . Every time they have an argument which can be nasty sometimes , I will make sure the girls apologise and hug each other or both will be punished . Let them sleep in the same bed , share clothes , use the same towels or even cups and plates - this will certainly create a strong bonding among them . And most importantly do not have favourites as the others are always watching .Treat them equally at all times . Listen to their grouses attentively and act on it as this will give them a sense of importance . No doubt the eldest always have the biggest responsibility but this does not mean to neglect the youngest .
My principal has always been if you get the eldest one right the rest will just follow ....

PS - We have been blessed that Bella is the type that always mengalah to Tasha . She’s certainly very matured for her age which surprises me . Alhamdulillah ...
MANYUE CAKE :
It's the first month celebration of newborn. ... Then at the end of the Man Yue, you suppose to celebrate. People shave the baby hair and give regiment to make it grow thicker. The old folks keep the tradition alive with red eggs, home made glutinous rice and ang ku cake.
