1. Right length for the right occasion. If unsure, midi dress does the job.
2. Don’t carry an oversized bag, use a mini handbag or a clutch.
3. Don’t wear too many accessories. Sometimes a single statement piece does its job too.
4. Avoid transparent plastic bra straps or visible panty lines at all cost. If it’s an open back, try to get dresses with ‘built-in’ bras
5. Spanx helps. Shapewear is never going to hide your diet or exercise habits, but it does help with the smoothness of your dress.
6. Couldn’t decide on the colour? The most popular choices in order, are black, red, white and gold. You can never go wrong with a little black dress.
7. Heels and never flats. They provide the height, shape, and poise and will get the most out of your dress.
8. More skin doesn’t always mean sexier. Highlight your best assets and camouflage those you want to hide.
9. Makeup = less is more. You don't need to wear a full face of makeup with 15 different beauty products to look beautiful. You ARE beautiful.
