There's not just one road to the destination, but many roads. You just need to take the little step that’s right in front of you, and then the next one, and a few years down the track, they will seem like massive achievements.

I didn’t meet my father until I was 6 years old. My parents had a comfortable, middle-class life in Shanghai, or as close as you could get under communism. But they always wanted to live overseas, and just before I was born, my dad came to Sydney to set things up. I don’t know why, but in the end, my mother and I didn’t join him until I was 6.

這首歌由鄧紫棋親自作詞作曲，不管是旋律還是歌詞都很容易產生共鳴的一首歌。
把一段感情故事寫進歌詞和旋律中，記錄了那段時期的心境。描述那段沒有結局的感情，分手後就算時隔許久才與舊情人再相見，兩個人的問候也換了意義。

This song was made by G.E.M and it is rumored it's about her own story and that it was even hard for her to record the song.The then love is so into the lyrics and melody that we can relate to how strong and how hurt it may be.

It's like saying what makes the winter terrible is that we once know what the summer is like. We know it's dark because we met the Sun before.

We've bee through all the hard times and I do hope that those who are struggling may have the courage to stand up again through my music and know you are loved.
