糖尿病人用餐技巧
因為工作關係或種種原因,香港人經常外出用餐,一旦患上糖尿病,飲食宜「三低一高」——低鹽、低糖、低脂及高纖,雖然外食看似很多選擇,但主食一般都以低纖的白飯為主,菜式調味重又脂肪含量高。所以「糖友」要掌握以下用餐技巧,讓你食得健康。不止糖友,其實一般人都適用啊!
情況:主食為白飯
用餐技巧:白飯屬高GI食物,可以叫「少飯」減少食用白飯的份量,配搭多點蔬菜。亦要避免以餸菜醬汁拌飯進食,以免吸收更多油份。
情況:主食為湯麵
用餐技巧:選清湯比濃湯好,選粗麵比幼麵好,只吃麵不喝湯,以免攝取過量鹽份。
情況:主食為肉類
用餐技巧:選擇新鮮肉食比加工食物好,避免香腸、火腿、午餐肉等。
情況:菜式有沙律
用餐技巧:醬汁另上,選擇橄欖油或油醋汁,比蛋黃醬或千島沙律醬好。
情況:蔬菜充滿油或芡汁
用餐技巧:使用過水法,將蔬菜浸泡一下熱水才吃;可以的話直接叫「走油」或「走汁」。
情況:菜式多為炸物
用餐技巧:如果是炸雞類,建議去皮才吃。
情況:套餐附送飲品
用餐技巧:選擇熱飲,糖包會另上,可以自己控制甜度。凍飲的話宜叫「少甜/走甜」甚至「糖漿另上」。

Healthy eating tips for diabetic patients
Due to work and many other reasons, Hong Kong citizens often opt to eat out. But once diagnosed with diabetes, patients will have to watch their diets and make sure what they eat are low in sodium, sugar, and fats and high in fiber.
Eating out might give us endless choices, but most main courses come with white rice that is low in fiber. Other dishes are either often heavily seasoned or high in fats. Therefore, patients with diabetes, or even regular folks, should consider the healthy eating tips below.
Situation: White rice as main course
Tip: white rice has a high GI; opt for a small bowl of rice and eat more vegetables. Avoid drizzling any sauce on the rice, as rice can absorb all the fats in the sauce
Situation: Soup noodles as main course
Tip: opt for clear soup and thick noodles; eat the noodles and avoid drinking the soup, as it is normally high in sodium
Situation: Meat as main course
Tip: choose fresh meat over processed meat; avoid hotdogs, ham, and luncheon meat
Situation: Salad in meals
Tip: separate the sauce of the salad; if possible, choose olive oil or vinaigrette over mayonnaise or thousand island dressing
Situation: Oily or starchy vegetables
Tip: rinse them in hot water to wash out the excess oil and starch; if possible, ask the restaurant to cut down on the use of oil and starch
Situation: Deep fried food
Tip: remove the skin if you are eating fried chicken
Situation: Complimentary beverages
Tip: choose warm drinks, and ask the restaurant to pack the sugar separately; for chilled drinks, opt for less sugar, sugarless, or ask the restaurant to pack the syrup separately

幾年前的文章,當時應該是因為我怕反對opt-out器官捐贈會大炎上,被醫生狙擊,沒有在專頁發佈。今日人類都快被當畜牲了,那些醫學大師們也四處狙擊人不防疫不打針,到處都是烈火,我也不怕大炎上啦。
《預設器官捐贈的考慮》 - 2017年4月21日
心臟衰竭影響全球超過二千萬人,在美國有一半的患者會在五年內去世,早前中大學生馬倬朗就是因為心臟衰竭不幸離世。暫時,心臟衰竭唯一的治愈方法,是心臟移植。然而,可捐贈的心臟數量嚴重不足。其他器官也有類似情況,所以科學界才致力研究再生醫學,醫學界也鼓勵器官捐贈。
但器官捐贈同時是一個倫理議題,社會政策上,更要慎重,能救命不代表可以凌駕一切。預設捐贈(opt-out),當然會增加大量可移植器官,的確能救多命。但這麼一來,人類屍體就預設成為社會的物資,會改變我們對人類的看法,社會會趨向功利主義。面對床上頻死的人,社會看到的再不是一個人,是一堆物資,這是對人類尊嚴的踐踏。
而隨便把捐贈年齡修至十七歲,是瘋狂,是毫無原則。以獎金鼓勵非親屬活體捐贈,更是恐怖。連第三世界國家都恐怕未必敢公開獎勵捐贈者,買賣都是檯底進行,我們居然可以大肆報道嘉許。香港人,慢慢連基本的是非之心都失去。

香港人生活節奏急速又忙碌,食無定時之餘,不少人更養成吃宵夜的壞習慣。從中醫角度來看,吃宵夜的習慣會傷身,日間脾胃不停運作消化食物,正常到晚上需要休息讓其它臟腑運作排毒,進食宵夜即是要脾胃加長工時,容易引致胃病,亦影響肝膽等臟腑的正常運作,更會影響睡眠質素。而且宵夜選擇除了外賣,自煮的話多數是即食麵、腸仔、急凍食品等就手之選,全都是重口味、油膩的肥甘厚味食物,多吃容易損傷脾胃,亦容易致肥。 新一年開始決心戒掉吃宵夜的壞習慣吧!如果你已到達不吃宵夜睡不著的地步,就先從食物選擇入手,在宵夜時間改吃香蕉、番薯、果仁等,盡量選擇看得到食物原形的食物,避免精製或加工食物,最後把宵夜習慣戒掉就更好了。

Late night snacks are unhealthy and can cause obesity
Hong Kong people live a hectic lifestyle. We do not eat at regular hours and many of us enjoy late night snacks. From the perspective of Chinese Medicine, eating late at night is a bad habit. Our digestive system has worked hard during the day, and it should rest at night so our organs can carry out detoxification.
Eating late means our spleen and stomach would have to work ‘overtime’. This can cause stomach problem, affect the functions of the liver and gallbladder, and reduce our sleep quality.
Besides ordering delivery, we would normally opt for instant noodles, sausages and other frozen items. They are heavily flavored, oily and greasy, which would hurt the spleen and stomach. Consuming these items excessively can cause obesity.
Let’s start our new year by ending late night snacking! For a start, you can avoid processed food and eat only natural goodies like banana, sweet potato, and nuts. From here, you can gradually train yourself to give up eating before sleep.
