[ RECIPE - EASY FRIED CHICKEN WINGS ]
We deep fry our chicken wings using Medella cooking oil over the weekends for a home party! It is a physically refined 100% natural premium coconut cooking oil which has no added chemicals. Yes, it is suitable for deep-frying and is great for cooking your favourite foods. My chicken wings are less greasy, I don't even need to drain any oil on paper towel! INGREDIENTS
8 chicken wings
1 teaspoons salt
1 1/2cups flour
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup buttermilk
4 cups Medella coconut oil
METHOD
1. Combine the salt, flour, black pepper, and cayenne in a large, shallow bowl. Set aside for about 15 minutes. Pour the buttermilk into a second bowl. Dip the chicken in the buttermilk, then in the flour mixture.
2. Heat Medella coconut oil. Carefully place the chicken in the oil. Fry the chicken until golden brown. Check for doneness by piercing the meat; the juices should run clear. Squeeze some lime to go along with it.
Tips: Add the pieces slowly, so that the temperature does not drop, and work in batches to avoid overcrowding.
