本文計算從2008年七月初到2020年底，共十二年期間，對Vanguard全球股市ETF，Vanguard Total World Stock ETF (美股代號VT)，定期投資的成果。

(從2008七月開始計算，因為VT在2008年六月成立)

投入方式是從2008年7月到2020年12月止，分別在每年的一、四、七、十月，每季定期投入。

投入時間在該月的第一個營業日。以收盤結算淨值為買進價格。

每季投入目標為600美金。

配息在扣除30%預課稅款後，剩餘款項於配息的可配發日(Payable date)當天，以ETF的收盤淨值再投入。

根據這樣的條件進行定期買進，過程如表:

12.5年共50次投入，累積了555股。

歷年配息再投入，共得69.5085股。

兩者加總共是624.5085股。

以2021的第一個營業日(2021一月4日)，VT收盤淨值每股91.97計算，624.5085股，有57436.04美金的價值。

12.5年全部投入的資金總額是29865.31美元。粗報酬率是(57436.04-29865.31)/ 29865.31，等於92.32%。

從2008七月開始定期投資的朋友，已經從這個標的得到資本近乎翻倍的成果。

不需要停損，也不需要停利。這是長期參與市場所得到的成果。

本文計算從2007年初到2020年底，共14年的時間，對美國全股市ETF，Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (美股代號:VTI)，定期投資的成果。

投入方式是從2007年1月到2020年12月止，分別在每年的一、四、七、十月，每季定期投入。

投入時間在該月的第一個營業日。以收盤結算淨值為買進價格。

每季投入目標為600美金。

此ETF每季配息。配息在扣除30%預課稅款後，剩餘款項於配息的可配發日(Payable date)當天，以當天ETF的收盤淨值再投入。

根據這樣的條件進行定期買進，過程如下表:

每季投入600美金，累積403股。配息再投入得48.569股。兩者加總共是451.569股。

以2021的第一個營業日(2021一月4日)，VTI收盤淨值每股191.77計算，451.569股，有86597.39美金的價值。

十四年全部投入的資金總額是33620.48美元。粗報酬率是(86597.39-33620.48)/ 33620.48，等於157.6%。

也就說，這十四年來可以持續定期買進VTI的投資人，他所投入的資產總值已經變成2.5倍，有一百五十幾趴的獲利。

以XIRR函數計算內部報酬率則是12.51%(年化)。

自2006開始進行全市場指數化投資以來，我看過一些高峰與深谷。

2007在金融海嘯發生前的高峰，2014完全收復2008跌幅之後一直到現在幾乎每年出現的新高峰。

2009二月金融海嘯的深谷，2020三月肺炎疫情的深谷。

不論上漲或是下跌，一般認為都不是投資的好時刻。

上漲時，”美國已經漲太多”、”崩盤在即”之聲不絕於耳。
大跌時，大家說:”跌勢深不見底”、”現金為王”。離開市場似乎才是對的。

要取得市場報酬沒有想像中容易。不去猜測市場未來走勢持續投入的方式，雖然沒有保證一定會是正報酬。但這方式可以確保，市場有報酬時，有你的一份。

下跌時持續投入，上漲時持續投入，都需要勇氣。

「 Live is so much better with Music Eason Chan Charity Concert」is the ever first event of 「Hong Kong Live Performance and Production Industry Association Limited」. The aim of this event is raising fund and helping for those related industries whom have been suffering from COVID-19.
