สำหรับวิดีโอดังกล่าว ถูกถ่ายมาจากเครื่อง Xbox 360 ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในแพลตฟอร์มที่เกมนี้ตั้งเป้าว่าจะวางจำหน่าย พร้อม ๆ กับ PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS และ PC

"ไม่เหมือนกับเวอร์ชันบน Wii ที่เคยหลุดมาก่อนหน้านี้, ตัวฟุตเทจที่คุณได้เห็น มาจาก Engine คนละตัว อีกทั้งวัตถุและหน้าเมนูส่วนใหญ่ก็เป็นการรีไซเคิลมาจากเกม Prototype ที่ออกวางจำหน่ายไปเมื่อปี 2009"

น่าเสียดายที่ตัวเกมนี้ถูกยกเลิกการพัฒนาไปแล้ว เนื่องจากภาพยนตร์ Spider-Man 4 เองก็ไม่ได้ไปต่อ ก่อนที่ในเวลาต่อมาจะถือกำเนิดเป็นภาพยนตร์ใหม่ในชื่อ The Amazing Spiderman เมื่อปี 2012

อย่างไรก็ตาม ปัจจุบันผลงานเกมของแฟรนไชส์ Spider-Man ตกมาอยู่ในความรับผิดชอบของทีมงาน Insomniac Games แล้ว และได้รับการยกย่องจากแฟน ๆ ว่าสามารถถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์ของเกมซูเปอร์ฮีโร่ออกมาได้ดีที่สุดแห่งยุคนี้เลยทีเดียว

ล่าสุด Insomniac Games ก็เปิดตัว Spider-Man 2 ออกมาเป็นที่เรียบร้อย โดยตัวเกมจะวางจำหน่ายแบบ Exclusive บนเครื่อง PlayStation 5 และมีกำหนดการคร่าว ๆ อยู่ภายในปี 2023
