The reason why I need to paint Hong Kong cityscape with a Chinese brush!
The sign boards here in Hong Kong are mostly written in standard script in the Northern Wei style. These fonts have now been slowly replaced by different computer fonts such as PMingLiU. Painting the words on the boards is surely one of the most challenging parts of my painting process!
