Finding New Source of Funding for New Market.
Contrary to the belief of many, Islamic finance or rather Islamic funding can operate in all markets provided the underlying asset/venture is Shariah compliant.
For the first time ever, Amanie Afra will be bringing the theme of Islamic funding to Thailand and neighbouring countries. Islamic funding particularly sukuk (Islamic bond) has been looking for new quality assets beyond Middle East (which has a considerable exposure to geo-political risk). Somehow the new markets are not aware of this new source of funding. We are trying to close the gaps.
Many has confirmed the participation from Thailamd and beyomd. Speakers come Korea, Dubai, Thailand, Malaysia, China and Indonesia. Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand has also tentatively agreed to participate.

New perspectives will be unlocked either from new Islamic funding strategies (demand) or from new economy perspective (supply). This is the first ever event of this nature and scale from the speakers and participants perspective.
