最近翻照片翻到了2017年，我最愛的鼓手 Antonio Sánchez 帶著他的樂團 Migration 來台灣 河岸留言 演出，想起了之前我曾經翻譯過他的DVD "Master Series"的一段話，非常感動且給我很大的能量，但之前有被盜過帳號都不見了，於是決定再找出來聽打一次重新翻譯分享給大家。

也再次謝謝 河岸留言可以邀請這麼棒的樂團來台灣！！

如果不知道Antonio Sanchez是誰的，他是Pat Metheny band的鼓手，葛萊美獎得了好幾座，同時已經得了奧斯卡等N個獎項的電影 Birdman 「鳥人」，這部整部電影配樂只有鼓聲，所有鼓也都是他錄的。

最後一點我想要說的是，許多關於跟音樂以及音樂家共事的態度。

嗯，當我還在成長時，我總是夢想著可以在很棒、高聳、最大的場館，跟著大型樂團，以及最棒的音樂家們一起演出。 這夢想當然很棒，但你總是要從某些名不經傳的小地方當作你的起點。

突然之間，我意識到我正在小酒吧、小俱樂部、或是某家餐館、某個婚禮場演出 — 而且沒有人在專注聽你演奏，那時我覺得很沮喪而且覺得被冒犯了，舉例來說。我以前做很多婚禮場，而且在上面演奏「熱愛105度C的你」(註一) 上百次，演奏時心裡想「我在這邊銃三小？」、「快讓我離開這吧，殺了我吧，我可以演比這個帥一百倍以上的曲目！」於是，我在演奏時只想打卡下班，就沒有把我的專注放在音樂上面。

又或者某天，我在某間小酒吧演出，正在演奏搖擺樂，或者一些我真的很喜歡的音樂風格，但沒有人在注意聽我們演奏，大家都在看大銀幕上的棒球比賽。 我就想說「好吧，反正沒人在聽，我就把我昨天練功的招式都丟進去音樂吧。」而那時我只是胡亂的丟我練過的招式，並沒有在那個音樂裡面，我也沒有在聽其他音樂家演奏了什麼，不過也許其他音樂家有聽到我做的事情。

後來，當我幸運地得到了更多演出機會，而這些場合開始需要更高的難度，我了解到我的專心程度並不足以支撐這些高強度的場合。

舉例來說，當我在九零年代晚期開始跟Niels Pedersen一起做巡迴，那是個非常高強度的演奏，它是個三重奏，每次演出的晚上，我的腦袋好像快爆炸一樣，因為我並不習慣如此需要長時間專注程度的高難度演出，我才了解到我浪費了太多時間以前演奏的時候沒有把專注力放在音樂上。

我覺得，如果你有兩隻手、兩隻腳、而且可以演奏樂器，你已經夠幸運了。而我認為如果你現在正在某間酒吧、某個餐館、或是某個婚禮場作演出，而你可以把每一場演出當作好像是全世界最棒的演出、在最大、最美麗的場館，跟著最棒的音樂家一起演出，那我認為你正走在對的路上。因為你有把你的心放在音樂裡面，而且你給這些音樂跟音樂家他們所渴望的最棒的尊重，那麼我可以向你保證接下來會有很棒的事情降臨在你身上。

這就是我想說的，非常謝謝你們今晚的蒞臨，希望我們下次可以再見。

註一：原文是說演奏「La Mecarena」，９０年代的當紅歌曲。這邊為了年輕讀者，使用較貼近現在的105度C的你。

註二：Niels Pedersen 全名是 Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen (N.H.O.P.)，是從70-90年代活躍的傳奇的低音提琴手，演奏速度可以超級超級快又具備非常豐富的音樂性。

英文原文，因為是用聽打的，也許有少部分錯誤

Recently I found a picture that my favorite drummer
Antonio Sanchez and his band "Migration" touring in Taipei in 2017. And few years ago I've seen his DVD and felt so inspired from these words. I decided to translate it into Chinese to share with other Chinese drummers.

There's maybe little mistakes because English is not my mother language.

Some wise words from my all-times favorite drummer Antonio Sanchez from his DVD - "Master Series".

And the last things I wanna said, hmm, has a lot to do with attitude to work with music and musicianships. Hmm, When I was growing up, I was always dreaming of playing in a nice, tall, the biggest stadium and the biggest band with the greatest musicians in this world. And that’s great except that we all have to start somewhere. And I, all of a sudden, I was playing in a little bar, or small pub, or some restaurant, or a wedding where nobody was paying an attention. And I really felt depressed and I felt violated. And for example, I’ve been played for a wedding gig, and I would be playing “La Marcaena” for a hundred times , and I would be like “What am I doing here ?”, “Get me out of here, shoot me, this is not for me, I’m so much better than this !”
And I was not putting my heart into it at all. When the next day, I would play in some small bar, I was playing maybe swing or something that I really like, but nobody was paying an attention. Everybody was looking at the screen, the baseball game. And I would be like “Well, nobody is paying an attention, then I just gonna playing practice whatever I was working on yesterday.” And I was NOT in the moment, I was not listening to what the other guys were playing. And maybe the other guys were listening to me.

So, when I luckily started getting better and better opportunities music-wise, and the situations start getting a little more the manling. I realized that I did not have the concentration I took for me to be able to deal with some of the situations. Uh, for example when I started to play with Niels Pedersen in the late 90s, it was a very tense gig , it was just a trio, and every night I would end would headache , because I was not used to have a lot of concentration and focusing that much, for that amount of time.
I realize that I’ve wasted a lot of time not being into the music not putting my heart into it. Because, I mean I really feel like if a, you have two arms, two legs, and you are able to play , you are lucky already. And I think if you are playing in some small restaurant, or wedding, or whatever. You treat that situation like the best gig in the world in the most beautiful opera house or the biggest stadium, and you treat you felt the musicians like the greatest musicians you could play with. I think you are on the right path. You put your heart into it, and you give the music and musicians the respect they deserved. Then I can assure you really good things are gonna happen to you. 【幾歲開始學英文比較好？】
這是許多家長心中的疑問🧐
也絕對不是三言兩語就能表達清楚的

#此文慎長請耐心閱讀😊
學習語言的路漫長，如果能越早開始當然是最好
但如果已經錯過黃金關鍵期，還補得回來嗎？！🙁

早期有研究發現：
1. 0-7歲是人類語言學習的關鍵期。
2. 7歲以前的孩子，完全有能力同時學習兩種語言。
3. 7歲之後，語言學習的效率開始急劇下降， 等到17歲後，將基本失去第二語言學習的天賦。
《來自華盛頓大學教授，帕特里夏·庫爾（Patricia Kuhl）研究發現》

雖然如此，但我認為只要有心向學
#學習方式與目標會比何時開始來得重要

所以～別擔心 只要願意開始，都不嫌晚哦！
當然，尚未有學習認知的幼兒，需要家長大力相助

接著，我們來看看各年齡層的孩子
學習重點是什麼呢？🤓

〔0Y-2Y〕
🔺學習重點：培養興趣、愛上閱讀

0-2歲是英文啟蒙的最佳時機，在家撥放英語CD、英語歌謠帶動唱、講英語繪本…等等，都是激發孩子對英語充滿熱情的學習方式。

對有些爸媽來說，講繪本可不是一件容易的事，所以，這時候爸媽就丟掉平日的面子，來一場激昂的演出吧！

用高調的語氣，浮誇的表情，盡情把繪本表現得淋漓盡致，就算發音不是那麼標準也沒關係，重點是讓寶寶覺得閱讀是一件好玩的事情，間接培養閱讀的好習慣哦📖

〔2Y-4Y〕
🔺學習重點：家長陪伴、語感養成、基礎自然發音、提升熱情

語感養成可以從「聽」開始，Youtobe上有許多英語學習頻道，都可以幫助孩子提升「聽力」的部分，像是：Alphablocks、BabyBus、Pinkfong、Wordworld 等等，這些都是很有趣且適合幼兒學英語的頻道。

另外，像是有聲書、點讀筆、Podcast頻道、家長的陪伴⋯等等，也都可以增進孩子的語言發展，不一定要依賴太多的3C哦！

家長們也可以利用每日或空閒的零碎的時間，和他們進行一些小互動。以自身經驗舉例，Eason、Fairy幼兒時期，我和爸爸幾乎每天晚上會教他們5-8個單字的發音，對大人來說是"教"，但對小孩來說卻是＂爸爸媽媽在陪玩＂。

比如今天安排的主題是／a／，我們會找一些相關單字來教自然發音，像是：bat、rat、rag、tag、sad、bad，大家可能會想說，有些單字並不常用，而且小孩也不了解意思啊～

但其實自然發音，就是要用他們不熟悉的單字來學習，這些冷門字更可以讓孩子專注在＂拼音＂，盡量安排字母少、重複性較高的單字，才能加深孩子的印象👍🏻

每次＂教學＂的過程中，別忘了這其實是一種親子遊戲，家長不需要太嚴肅，一開始可以來首帶動唱炒熱氣氛，接下來在小黑板或紙上寫出字母，大人邊寫讓孩子邊讀，寫完一個單字，再很疑惑地問他們？What's this?? 接著一個字母一個字母教發音，最後讓他們試著自己唸出這個單字。

過程中就算孩子念錯也沒關係，千萬不要取笑或是指責，因為這只是在培養他們的語感，學語言是急不來的，每次的學習、陪玩，都是在加深印象，當孩子覺得有趣，自然會增加對英文的熱情👏🏻

〔4Y-6Y〕
🔺學習重點：增加閱讀量與難度、生活英語對話

4-6歲的學齡前兒童，可以增加閱讀的量，從簡易的繪本，改為童話故事等字數較多的書籍，甚至可以加入一些練習本，讓孩子開始動手從繪畫中學英文！

此階段的孩子，學英語的方式很多元，可以從畫畫、美術、運動、生活中學習，目標是將英語融入在生活中，讓他們學習運用比死背更重要！

若帶孩子做練習本時，不需要特別解釋字面上的意思，也先不要用中文解釋，可以用動作、語調、手勢，讓孩子試著去思考、想像，最後再指著頁面上空白處，引導孩子畫圖，經過思考的學習，總是會特別印象深刻。

簡易日常英語互動對話，像是：
"Time to wake up."
"Go wash your hands. "
"hurry up."
"Take off your shoes."
"put on your jacket."
”It’s time to take a shower”
“Could you please give it to me”

這些日常生活，每天必做的事，可以試著用英語表達，孩子一開始一定聽不懂那是麼意思，先用動作代替解釋，一邊做給孩子看，一邊說出這個動作的英文，漸漸地他們就會瞭解意思，不需要一直用中文解釋英文哦☺️

〔6Y up〕
🔺學習重點：補充課外讀物、增加「聽說讀寫」能力、正確的學習態度

6歲以上的孩子，已經到了升小學的年紀，需要更完整的學習，「聽說讀寫」各方面都很重要。

因為國小以上的孩子，開始會有學業上的壓力，若是低年級的英文能力不足，到中高年級，甚至是國高中以後，會比較辛苦！

我認為，如果想讓孩子在未來，英語科不要讀得那麼吃力，那麼多補充課外讀物是必要的，也有很多家長會選擇將孩子送到英語補習班或是線上教學課程，這些都是不錯的選擇。

相較於英語學習上的技巧，我認為國小生的學習態度更是重要，我經常教導孩子把心態歸零學習，虛心受教才能學到更多，讓自己更有智慧！

另外，此階段的孩子，在學習上需要的是自信與成就感，別因為他單字背不起來、考試成績不理想、怎麼教都教不會，而指責他。

語言是需要長期學習的，現在懂得很多，不代表未來都還記得；現在學不起來，也不代表永遠不會。給孩子一點時間，自然會找到適合自己的方法哦✊🏻

Welcome to this channel, My name is Yvonne. I'm a soap maker in Taiwan, if you like my videos, pls. subscribe and click the bell for notification.

If you are new to soap making, pls. make sure you read the SDS of sodium hydroxide carefully and put on your gloves, mask and google to protect yourself before starting.

This batch was designed with the special property of the fragrance oil I used in this recipe. After mixing with the soap batter, I got about 10 minutes to work with the swirl and the batter became solid after pouring in mold. So the line between layers would be very straight.

初榨大麻籽油 Hempseed Oil: 220g
初榨澳洲堅果油 Macadamia Oil: 180g
甜杏仁油 Sweet Almond Oil: 150g
椰子油 Coconut Oil: 180g
棕櫚油 RSPO-Palm Oil: 170g
可可脂 Cocoa Butter: 100g
99%氫氧化鈉 Sodium Hydroxide: 146g

在慶祝Butter氣勢旺盛蟬聯告示牌單曲榜六週之際，屋哩防彈少年團 BTS 又出了新曲Permission to Dance，歌曲由近期同樣發行新曲Bad Habits的 Ed Sheeran 參與創作，既然上次Bad Habits 我超級快速給出cover，這次當然維持這樣的壞習慣（笑）

Another pleasant style of Permission to Dance has again successfully put our BTS boys on another record on iTunes, Youtube and Spotify.

As the song goes, Permission to Dance would make you pleased and everyone would be all smiles and laughs when you see the shots of the other people dancing their heart out. You'll def end up with dancing together, like I did when filming this cover and with positive energy and a big smile on your face. Permission to Dance, perhaps with Butter (? are so bright and def perfect for the summer=]
