穀雨——已來到春天最後一個節氣了,穀雨二字源自「雨生五穀」,此時春耕完畢,水稻形成幼穗,需要較多雨水來滋潤,所以這個時候雨水充沛,氣候溫暖潮濕,要注意濕邪對身體的影響,濕重會讓人感到容易疲倦、胃口不佳、頭重重等。養生重點在於健脾祛濕,少吃生冷、重口味、煎炸油膩食物,適量進食薏米、赤小豆、扁豆、茯苓、淮山、番薯等健脾祛濕食物,增強脾胃功能。

To strengthen the spleen and dispel dampness, avoid cold/raw, heavy flavoured, fried and oily food. Appropriately consume food that strengthen the spleen and dispel dampness such as coix seed, rice beans, hyacinth bean, smilax, Chinese yam and sweet potato to enhance spleen and stomach function.
Gentle reminders:
.have lighter meals and eat bland foods.
.Diarrhea is not only caused by improper diet, but also may be a sign of dampness in the body.
.Always keep an umbrella in your bag as getting rained on can lead to attack from damp pathogens.

春回大地,春雨綿綿。雨水是廿四氣節中的第二個節氣,顧名思義就是指在這節氣期間雨水較多,氣候較潮濕。初春乍暖還寒,時雨時晴,時濕時乾,在這種天氣驟變的轉季時分,更要多注意保暖,慎防濕寒悄悄偷襲!不管甚麼季節大家都宜調養脾胃,雨季容易讓身體聚濕,不管甚麼體質,每天都要養成喝一杯米水的習慣,健脾袪水!飲食方面,少吃酸味的食物,如橙、士多啤梨等;另可多食理氣食物,如五指毛桃、白蘿蔔、陳皮等。

It is important to nourish the spleen and stomach during all seasons. The body is prone to collecting dampness during rainy seasons so be sure to drink a cup of rice water daily no matter what your body type is to strengthen the spleen and dispel dampness. From a diet perspective, have less sore things like oranges and strawberries and increase your intake of ingredients that can regulate qi such as hairy fig, radish and dried citrus peel.
Gentle reminders:
- It is not officially warming up yet so be sure to bring an extra jacket
- It is sometimes sunny sometimes rainy, bring an umbrella with you.
- Keep a calm mind without being too excited or too depressed
- If you run into problems, find a friend to talk and avoid stagnation of liver qi.
- Take the stairs and sweat a bit.

春暖花開,清明時節萬物生長,清潔而明淨,故稱「清明」。清明不只是一個傳統節日,還是一個節氣!與此同時,清明時節雨水亦較春分多,氣溫也逐漸回升。在春雨綿綿的日子裡,心情特別容易鬱悶,要懂得控制情緒,不要過分抑壓自己,最重要是找方法宣洩,大哭一場也不失為一個好辦法!不想哭,或可出外走走,做做運動,呼吸新鮮空氣,藉著排汗排走體內的濕氣,又可紓緩不快的情緒。飲食原則應祛濕、健脾胃和飲食清淡。
溫馨提示:
1. 每日一杯米水,有助健脾和排走濕氣,對抗春睏。
2. 隨身帶備一把雨傘傍身,以防因淋雨而生病。
3. 出門前記得看看天氣預告,以免雨水把心愛的一雙鞋毀掉。

五指毛桃10克、北芪10克,煮30分鐘,連渣倒進保溫瓶,反覆沖泡至味淡。

10g hairy fig root, 10g Astragalus Root, cook for 30 minutes. Pour all contents into thermos and tea can be rebrewed until flavor weakens.
