Throwback to that night when we had a Copper Fairy at Coppersmith at Troika Sky Dining and it was just too damn pretty to drink.
Tequila. Blueberry and black pepper syrup. Lime juice. Sparkling wine. Salted caramel sugar garnish.
People ask me why would I still go to bars and pay for my drinks when I can kinda "recreate" cocktail recipes at home.
Because: Homemade elixirs, beautiful garnishes, exquisite glassware I don't want to afford, money can't buy atmosphere and inventive cocktail creations which marry flavours I would've never thought would go together.
"Knowing" how to "make" drinks at home just makes me more picky about the cocktail bars I go to these days. :p
