We had an awesome time at Science Centre Singapore and it was a whole day packed with family-friendly activities! One of our favourites was dressing up at Circus! Science Under the Big Top where the kids pretended to be leopards and tigers running away from Papa Bear who was trying to chase and catch them, and made everyone laugh so hard! I was too happy to be the animal trainer, muahaha.
There are around 20 interactive exhibits featured and the main highlights are the High Wire and Elastic Acrobatics where kids (who are over 112cm and 23kg) can have a try walking on a tightrope or performing aerial tricks. Visitors can also learn about the science behind some mind-boggling circus acts such as sword swallowing or attempt to fold themselves into a small box as contortionists.
It was fascinating to see how science is at the heart of every circus act and just goes to show how science is around us. More to share in IG stories!
Circus! Science Under the Big Top takes place from now to 18 Mar 2018 at The Annexe from 10am to 6pm. Ticket pricing is at $52 for 2A2C, $18 for adult and $15 for child aged 3 to 12.
