Top three (3) Winners of Otaku Expo Reload 2016 and Otaku Expo 2017 will compete on Ozine Fest 2017 to be the 1st Onegai Onii-Chans and Otakuzine’s Anime Magazine Singing Contest Champion of 2017. Before you can proceed to consume the next cup, you will need to finish the current cup including the soup. The first one to consume the five (5) cup noodles wins.

CC Pizza Eating Contest – Contestants will be given a box of pizza, and the first one to consume the whole pizza wins.

Trivia:
During free stage time our host will pop up any anime/events related question/s. Whoever answers it correctly will have an Otaku Expo Reload freebies.

Lupel Marketing and Draw and Create Manga Art Contest – Contestants are required to present event ticket upon registration. Contestants are limited to thirty (30) participants per day. First come first serve will be implemented.

Kimochi Hobby Shop presents the first ever Arena Draft. Compete with fellow Weiss Schwartz (Day 1) and YuGiOH (Day 2) players and duel it out. Sam Birchall debuts at JTC with a very original, unique and fresh release that is going to blow your guitar world wide open! With varying degrees of intensity from the beautiful to the aggressive, these 20 modern rhythmic licks will show you how to incorporate and master chordal ideas in your own guitar solos!

There is a real progression in the licks starting with simpler more introductory licks which ease you into the idea of using rhythmic chordal ideas in your licks. Then as you work through these 20 ideas Sam will guide you into the more complex and advanced licks.

Sam says 'This package represents many of the ideas the I have been working on over the last few years, distilled down to 20 licks. Each lick is more of a mini solo, packed with ideas, and full of context, to give you some solid ideas and help you apply them straight away. All the licks feature interesting rhythms, and modern intervallic content, utilising a variety of techniques, but without being technique-specific. You wont need to be a killer alternate picker, or a die hard hybrid picker to get something out of them. The track really lends itself to jamming, and works equally well when treated as a simple major vamp, whilst also rewarding a more chord-by-chord soloing approach. On the theory side on things, there is a lot going on! We've got interesting use of rhythmic ideas, syncopation, drop-chords, great use of colour notes and chord extensions and wide interval ideas. Sam's licks are the perfect example of how you can really get a lot of interesting sounds out of a mostly diatonic palette! If you can learn to do a lot with a little, then imagine what's possible when you expand your ideas further!

Some of the fantastic techniques in this pack include; hybrid picking, legato (hammer ons and pull offs), sliding, pick raking, open-strings, palm-muting, finger rolling, tapping, economy picking, percussive clicks and letting notes ring into each other to create chordal effects... plus much more!

If you can master each of these super creative licks in turn then you'll be well on your way to adding your own interesting rhythmic/chordal ideas into your own licks and solos!

As ever, we have included everything you need to practise and perfect the material in this package. There are video and audio tracks for you to watch/listen and study, accurately transcribed TAB/notation for you to analyse and master, and backing tracks for everything! いつもながら、米津さんの曲は「耳コピ泣かせ」です💦
特にCメロ(03:02-03:32)は、正直、正解のコードがわかりません。。。
また「3カポ C」でカバーされている方が多いと思いますが、個人的に曲の雰囲気に合っていると思った「1カポ D」でカバーさせていただきました。

コードは言わずもがなですが、歌詞もいろいろ間違っているかもしれません💦💦

This is theme song of TV drama "No side game" which is a newly written song.

As usual, the song of Yonezu-san is so difficult to copy by ear💦
Especially, about bridge(03:02-03:32), to be honest, I don't know the correct chords...
Also, I think that many people are covered by 3 capo/chord C.
However, I covered by 1 capo/chord D because I felt to match this song's atmosphere.

Although to say nothing of guitar chords, the lyrics may also be wrong💦💦

Here is an English cover of "Kimi ni Todoke" by Japanese band flumpool. It was the theme song for the 2010 movie of the same name.

I have been getting a lot of requests for this song for a while, so I finally decided to give it a try. It was fun to translate into English and play around with the words (as always!), but it was a bit challenging to actually sing it with my vocal range, so the vocals aren't my best :-$

Also, there were a few places where it was hard to tell if the subject was "you" or "me" (Japanese doesn't always use a subject in each sentence), so please understand that this translation is just my interpretation :) Hope you like it!

今日は、皆さんからいただいたリクエストの中で特に人気のあったflumpoolの「君に届け」の英語訳を作って歌ってみました(^^)/　この曲は、2010年の映画『君に届け』の主題歌でした。

この曲を英語に訳すのは、いつもと同じように楽しい作業でしたが、歌うことに関しては、歌えるキーに直してみると低い部分は低く、高い部分はかなり高いので歌うのがとても困難でした（ボーカルが怪しいところがあるかと思います(笑)）。また、歌詞については、主語が「僕」なのか「君」なのか分かりにくい部分があったので、この翻訳はあくまでも私の解釈です。気に入っていただけると嬉しいです(^^♪ Enjoy!

今日は、Aimerの「蝶々結び」の英語カバーをお届けします♪
この曲はリクエストもいただいており、自分でも訳して歌ってみたいと思っていました。

今回は、蝶々結びの手順をちゃんと英語で再現できるように訳詞しながら音節を当てはめる言葉選びの作業がとても難しかったんですが、何度も修正を重ねてようやく完成しました(^^)/
気に入っていだけると嬉しいです！

Here is my most recent English translation, a song called "Chouchou Musubi" (Butterfly Bow) by Aimer, a Japanese singer-songwriter who has recently become popular.

This is by request, and also a song that I wanted to try. It was quite a challenge to translate into English because the lyrics include specific instructions and I had to keep them in tact, so I had to be as literal as possible. It took several tries to get this right, but I am quite proud of the finished product, so I hope you enjoy it!

Incidentally, "chouchou musubi" is technically the word for "bow," but it literally means "butterfly bow," and I used the word "butterfly" throughout the song to refer to the bow. There is a completely different knot called a "butterfly knot" in English :)
