Sunday dinner with two close friends. @rif9802 manned the grill and churned out a delicious Black Angus tomahawk, paired with some chargrilled vegetables.
For starters, I rustled up a cheese platter with caviar and homemade chicken liver pate. And a side of freshly baked sourdough loaf with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
As if there wasn’t enough beef in that massive tomahawk, we also prepped beef burgers — cooked on the grill to add to the massiveness of our feast.
Wines were good too. Simple yet hits the spot with no pretentious thinking (or gargling) required.
