Made an Oreo cheesecake with my baby girl! 🎂

This girl has said since the start of the holidays that she wanted to make a cake and I am just thankful that we managed to do it before school starts again.

How hard is it to find one-on-one time when you have four kids, including an infant, to care for 24/7? The truth is, very, very hard and challenging. Yet, it is still something that we try to achieve once in a while.

We went for a mother-and-daughter breakfast where she ate her favourite 鸡蛋面包 with hot Milo. This was done after sending the brother to school, the baby was sleeping in the stroller and the big sister was at home. We also went shopping for the cake ingredients after that. Then we woke up early the next day and the two of us did majority of what needed to be done while the rest were still in school or sleeping. You see, when there is a will, more often than not, there is surely a way.

The big sister saw us all busy in the kitchen when she woke up and asked "Why do we need a cake? What occasion is it?" And the answer was there was no special occasion but this was specially meant for my girl and if it made her happy, it made me too. Love you, my dear! ❤

小朋友難以入睡或半夜驚醒的情況好普遍，辛苦的不止是孩子，大人一樣頭痛，所以有人說要從小讓小朋友自己一間房一張床就最好，還可以訓練出獨立性格；但大家都知道香港土地問題多嚴重，不少家庭都是親子同房甚至同床，到底怎樣安排小朋友睡，會否就是困擾的根源？
