Last week the petstore ran out of Pinkies size mice and only had Fuzzies. Since our corn snake is growing alot we decided to try him out on the size up. We concluded that he can eat it fine , but we will officially start him on fuzzies in a month!

First time feeding Gaara! Frozen food is alot less messy for snake keepers who dont want to feed live animals. If it wasnt bad for him would feed him a cheeseburger as a treat on occasion!!!

Today at the petstore, they ran out of Pinkies ( the size gaara usually eats) , and only had fuzzies. Since Gaara puts away 2 Pinkies at a time like it is nothing, we decided to give Gaara a try on Fuzzies. Took him a while but he enjoyed the meal. We decided to give Gaara an additional month before we officially started him on Fuzzies, he is now on 3 pinkies because he is a big boy!
Vigilante Fitness Couple Feeds Gaara for the first time, frozen pinkies. It is better to feed frozen food so dont have to deal with the live feeding. Cleaner too. Gaara is frisky and takes abit to settle down before he eats. He takes two pinkies per feeding because he has a big appetite
