What is aerial yoga? Aerial yoga, or anti-gravity yoga, uses the support of the hammock to help participants achieve traditional yoga poses. Besides looking pretty cool posing on a hammock, there are some physical and psychological benefits of aerial yoga that I'd love to share today!
什麼是空中瑜珈?空中瑜珈,也就是無重力瑜珈,利用布褂承受身體重量的原理幫助大家達到傳統的瑜珈體位。除了在布褂上做瑜珈拍照很美之外,我今天想和大家分享一些練習空瑜的好處和功效~
One thing I love about aerial yoga is that the suspension in the air allows the body to release tensions in the muscles and joints. This allows you to stretch deeper than you normally would on a mat, e.g., opening the shoulders, neck, and back.
當我們的把身體重量交給布褂時,我們的肌肉和關節能夠更加放鬆,進而達到深層延展的功效。在布褂上伸展能夠幫助我們更輕鬆達到一般在墊子上比較吃力的體位 (例如:打開肩頸和背部)。
The hammock is also really helpful in building core strength. As you experience more challenging situations during your practice, such as hanging upside down or standing on one leg, you must balance and stabilize by activating the core.
空餘布褂也能非常有效的強化核心!當你在練習的過程中遇到挑戰時,像是在倒掛或單腳平衡的時候,你必須透過核心的力量找到身體的平衡和控制力。
Aerial yoga not only helps to condition your body physically, but also helps to improve your mood, boost self-confidence, and relieve stress. Think of it as a roller-coaster ride, it always seems scary at first, but once you pick up new skills and techniques along the way, your accomplishments will completely renew and radiate your energy.
空中瑜珈除了能改善身體條件以外,也能夠改善心情、自信和紓壓。其實就像雲霄飛車一樣,一開始都很可怕,但當你學會新的技巧以後,你的成就會讓你身體的能量由內而外的煥然一新。
I personally love meditating in the hammock a lot more than meditating on the mat. The floaty feeling of being away from the ground takes away a lot of trivial thoughts and leaves my mind clear and quiet.
在個人的練習中,我自己偏愛在布褂內冥想。那在空中漂浮的感覺能夠帶走我內心的雜念,進而帶來心中的安定和寧靜。
