＊5/15 (Sat) Guadalupe Maravilla’s “Planeta Abuelx” Exhibition Opening with Healing Sound Baths
星期六在Astoria的Socrates Sculpture Park有名為 “Planeta Abuelx”裝置藝術新展覽開幕式。這是一個很有儀式感和圖騰象徵的大型裝置藝術。創作者Guadalupe Maravilla將會在現場表演具有療癒性的音樂。Socrates 雕塑公園是東河畔很棒的社區公園。有興趣的朋友可以去看看。

慶祝亞裔傳統月，星期六在Flushing的Prince Street有一個由NYPD與法拉盛商會共同舉辦的街坊節。有多項表演活動，藝術展覽以及反對仇恨亞裔的相關資訊。

在Brooklyn的Arts Gowanus組織策展一個紐約客如何挺過COVID-19疫情的一個人像畫展，將展出超過130個畫作。星期六的Opening現場也會有一個小市集，可以逛逛。

想體驗Cajun & Creole 樂風的朋友，這週末兩天在Governors Island的Nolan Park有Swamp in The City音樂節。除了音樂之外，還有傳統舞蹈表演。能演奏樂器的朋友也可以帶自己的樂器到現場與其他樂手來一場即興jam session。週末好天氣是到Governors Island很棒的機會。

星期天在Brooklyn Museum前廣場將有Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra的表演。在Brooklyn的朋友可以drop by享受一個美好的午後。

＊5/16 (Sun) Community Day at Whitney Museum of American Art
星期天是Whitney Museum一年一度的Community Day。全館免費開放讓民眾登記免費入館參觀。不過剛剛看了一下好像只剩下四點以後的時段。不過沒關係，星期天館方也會在旁邊戶外的Gansevoort Peninsula將揭幕由藝術家David Hammon的作品”Day’s End”。也會有大人小孩都可以參與的artmaking activities。還是很值得去Meat Packing District 走走看看的。

現在到12/5每天晚上五點到十二點在East Village的Public Theater建築外牆會有燈光投影打上近年因為警察暴力受害的黑人名字。如果有經過可以停下來看一下。Black Lives Matter!

今年在紐約將有一個新的感受過節的地方！星期天在曼哈頓西邊的Hudson Yards將首次在The Vessel和周圍廣場裝上燈飾，有超過一百萬個燈光將在夜晚點亮，至12/31為止。應該很有節慶氣氛。

＊10/10-10/14 (Sat-Wed) Disappearing Map at The Pop-Up Store
由香港、圖博、台灣等團體所主辦的『消失的版圖』快閃展覽活動，在十月九日開始，於曼哈頓69 Eldridege St的藝廊舉行。文化與認同是自然而生。不過近年來，北京政府一步步的來同化，為了所謂的『統一』，北京正在扼殺在其領土內的『異族』，回歸後的香港，被併吞的圖博，還有設立集中營的維吾爾地區。逼其放棄自己的文化及語言。面對台灣，則是以文攻武嚇的方式，要來逼台灣就範。此次的展覽，是將不同被受到壓迫的獨特文化以藝術的層面呈現出來，已讓觀眾體驗到一個文化的脆弱，盼大家支持這些為了保護自己而抗爭的人民。展覽從十月九日至十月十四日，每天開放時間為下午一點至八點。購票請洽下面連結，因受疫情影響，展覽將遵守紐約州的防疫措施，參觀人士需配戴口罩，訪客亦限制每半小時20位。Admission: $8.00
