Here's the next episode in my new food adventure series, where I explore Taiwan's incredibly unique and diverse food culture. This week we head up to Tainan City, a place known for its wide variety of delicious, inexpensive food and street food. We try the famous coffin bread, beef soup, dou hua, spicy ice cream, and of course my favorite eel noodles. Make sure you check these places out next time you're in Tainan!

Welcome to the first episode of my new video series where I explore Taiwan's incredible food culture. I'll travel around Taiwan introducing some of my favorite restaurants and dishes and share everything with you!
In this episode, I travel around Kaohsiung with @Cole Fogle and we hit up three beef noodle soup spots. Each one was amazing and totally unique in their own ways. How many times can I say the word beautiful in one video? If you haven't been to Taitung before, now is your chance. Experience the wonder of Taiwan's East cost, starting in the mountains of Taitung. First I drive from Kenting to ZhiBen, a picturesque hot spring village nestled in the mountains. After some incredible exploration, waterfalls, hot springs, and running rivers, I enjoy some unique aboriginal food and then drive all the way to ChiShan. This is an outrageously beautiful valley famous for its immense rice fields. It doesn't get any better than this! Lastly, I enjoy a traditional bento box inside an old train car, and then give you a sneak peek of next week's video.... HINT: I flew in an airplane over the mountains of Hualien! Sometimes, we get really lucky, don't we?
