July 4 Night: #AmericaDayHomerun is a celebration of both America’s birthday and the U.S.-Taiwan shared love of baseball! Tonight, AIT provided an opportunity for Taiwan friends to experience some American baseball traditions, including a special rendition of the United States’ national anthem, video highlights featuring MLB players from Taiwan, a ceremonial pitch featuring Wang Chien-ming, Kuo Hong-chih and Liu Po-chun, mascots running competitions, MLB style cheerleading, and distribution of 1000 special edition t-shirts!
