Today is the day. ✈️

Thanks to friends and others who messaged or asked me regarding the earthquake in Taiwan! I’ve also had people asking the question “why” or “how come”? Hmm... honestly, it’s nature. Earthquake is unpredictable. It can be minor or disastrous depending on the scale. This time in Hualien, it was a 7.6-magnitude, which caused a lot of buildings to crash and sacrificed lives. Then, it was followed by several (at least 47 as for now) aftershocks. It’s going to be a tough Chinese New Year for a lot of families! The aftermath of a natural disaster is the toughest and scariest part. 🙏🏻

At least 16 people have been killed after a magnitude-6.4 earthquake hit southern Taiwan at 3:57 a.m. today on Saturday, just one day before Chinese New Year’s Eve. My heart goes out to those affected by the terrible quake. Hopefully more lives will be rescued ASAP.

Please include your prayers for Taiwan. Hope all the people on this beautiful island can get through this soon.
