今年全球都因為武漢肺炎而要留家抗疫，因此電視市場就比電影更獲重視。權威電影網站IMDb就根據用戶評分，公佈今年十大最受歡迎電視劇，當中就以Netflix有最多作品上榜，但冠軍就由Amazon Prime奪得。
十大劇集中，Amazon Prime的王牌劇《黑袍糾察隊》（The Boys）憑暗黑風格、反英雄故事成為冠軍，亞軍就由西班牙大熱劇《紙房子》（Money Heist）奪得，至於德國燒腦神劇《闇》（Dark）就成為季軍，可見觀眾的口味已更國際化。
之後第4至6名分別為《黑錢勝地》（Ozark）、《曼特洛人》（The Mandalorian）與最近大熱的《后翼棄兵》（The Queen’s Gambit），7至10名就為《雨傘學院》（The Umbrella Academy）、《西部世界》（Westworld）、《獵魔士》（The Witcher）與《王冠》（The Crown）。

●故事
故事改編自原作者Walter Tevis的同名小說，講述少女天才棋手的成長故事涉及女權主義，國際象棋，吸毒和酗酒等主題。
1956年孤兒Beth在生母意外死亡後進入孤兒院，在了無生趣的人生無感之餘開始跟校工學西洋棋而一鳴驚人、十五歲出道、十八歲成為美國棋后、十九歲征戰世界卻在鎮靜劑與酗酒之間被挫敗、二十歲重拾初心對決世界棋王！
●天才故事
近年有不小頹廢風的天才故事作品，但《后翼棄兵》籍由孤女Beth主軸出發，加上女主演Anya Taylor-Joy的外形、華麗服裝與及女主角獨立特行的決擇下注入新意。
當然，演出童年Beth的Isla Johnston亦應記一功。
●配角群
圍繞在Beth成長的人物很多，當中童年的棋藝啟蒙校工Shaibel、孤兒院的好姐妹Jolene及停暫的繼母Alma都讓人感動。

去年推出第一季，Amazon的黑馬影集《黑袍糾察隊》第二季前三集在9月4日於Amazon Prime平台上架；目前在爛番茄獲得97%新鮮度，IMDb也有8.7分，劇情也頗受好評，可說是今年下半年討論度相當高的影集作品。然而，《黑袍糾察隊》第二季與第一季發行的方式不同，反而是已首次釋出前三集，後恢復每週更新的方式，讓許多粉絲大為不滿，並在Amazon平台上留下一星負評，目前在Amazon上《黑袍糾察隊》頁面僅有2.7顆星。
