畢業後的我 決定勇敢面對誤解
Upon graduation I decided to return to my beloved country

我用陸路 交通跨越六個國度
With only land routes I walked across 6 countries to come home

拍攝紀錄 沿途上的驚險 和領悟
I even shot a documentary on my challenging journey

一步步 很艱苦 終於回到大馬領土
Thought every step was tought I finally came home to Malaysia

被拍照 被訪問 還被叫到警察總部
I got called to police station and faced many media interviews

Even though most think of me as public personality

But I stayed true to myself to retain my creative art

People criticized my songs for poisoning the younger generation

Putting a fake face is never an option for me

I was sitting at a cozy cafe just across from my condo. It was a rare Sunday afternoon - rare because I had an unplanned open space to do nothing particularly productive.

I had just come back from a business trip abroad to do a launch event of a project I was leading. The launch event happened after many weeks of working without a proper pause.

I felt satisfied with how things went. At the same time, I also felt exhausted.

The cafe was hidden on the second floor of an old building with a large glass window that covers one entire wall, overlooking the green branches of a big khaya tree. Next to the window, the owner had installed two swing chairs, hanging from the ceiling.

I sat on the swing for a while, sipping my cup of Lychee Rose tea. I noticed that even though my body was there, my mind was still in its frantic little race from one to-do to the next. 🏃‍♀️

I pulled out a book from my tote bag. The book is titled “Trying Not to Try: The Ancient Art of Effortlessness” that I borrowed from my friend Devina.

For as long as I remember, I had had a problem with trying too hard.

在封城下的世界，有人拿起樂器走到自家陽台為鄰居演奏、有人終於讀完十年前買下的書、有人終於第一次下廚做晚餐；而在封城下的法國諾曼第，現年 82 歲的畫家 David Hockney 仍然在繪畫，以他的 ipad新畫作為大家送上這溫暖的文字。

是的，疫情下很多事情都要取消，但請記住，沒人能阻止春天的來臨。

疫情雖然嚴重，卻讓地球喘一口氣，以另一角度看待的話，你會知道春天的花朵正在某處盛放著。故事館 Cabinet of Stories 也將於在4月4日重新開放，並新增了故事書閱讀室，搜羅不同種類的故事書及特別的二手書藉，以「Slow Soul 慢靈魂」作為此複合式空間的春季主題。

在此空間，從獨一無二的手造木製品、帶著神秘歷史的二手書籍、如藝術品般的手工皂、精緻的小盤景、以色列的陶瓷到牆上一幅幅畫作，每一個角落都結合故事，伴隨花藝師特別佈置盛放的櫻花，讓你慢慢品嚐花茶，聽故事，看故事，喚起自己的慢靈魂。除了觀賞作品，Cabinet of Stories 也希望能讓大家在這裡透過創作想像更多，重新與自己談天。

疫情期間，只接受預約參觀，每個時段只限一人預約，最多可帶三位朋友同行。想一人慢遊這藏在唐樓裡的迷你故事博物館，就電郵至： cabinet@story-teller.com.hk 預約。

In these extremely hard times, some people took the instruments and walked to their balcony to play for their neighbours, some people finally read the book bought ten years ago, some people finally cooked their own dinner for the first time…...In France, the 82-year-old painter David Hockney is still painting, and sent his warm text with his new paintings.

Yes, many things need to be cancelled under these hard times, but please remember that no one can stop spring from coming.
