Pics - Treating patients at Gaza
I had the opportunity to work at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza for 2 weeks before was told to evacuate way back in 2009 during the war.
Many was bombed-related injuries .
The hospital was saturated with people including women and children .
Bed wasn’t enough .
Medicines were shortage .
Equipment were ill equipped.
Operations were performed mostly in the dark with no electricity sometimes .
The generators were not functioning .
I met many other Arab doctors who were just as good . - Alhamdulillah
Many of the patients were blocked and unable to cross the border for access to medicine and better treatment .
Many humanitarian effort including loads of Medicine and Equipment were stranded outside the border unable to get in .
Only the lucky few get through with strict documentation .

I pray that conditions are getting better as we speak .
