Lucy Coffee & Food–a tiny cafe on the inside with limited seatings, but the atmosphere was cosy. Their cakes and tart, not gonna lie, it was so unique and tasty.

🇬🇧Unplanned, yet pleasant visit to this cozy cafe @kush.bangkok after we went to fat beef which is on the 2nd floor of the same building ♥️They have plenty of spaces, not that kind of tiny cafe packed with people we often see these days in Bangkok. There are many choices of drinks and homemade bakery as well. Overall, another super nice place for hanging out with you best friends on a Saturday afternoon ♥️ @sugarcraver

Vegetarian gyoza are difficult to find in Japan. Most contain minced meat, so Senjo Handmade Gyoza is a rare find! It's a tiny restaurant with just 6 seats, and the owner is so friendly. She made the gyoza from scratch for us, with a selection of flavours of her recommendation. They're Taiwanese dumplings - larger than Japanese gyoza, and there's a large choice of meat and vegan/veggie options. I really enjoyed it!

A night out at Omoide Yokocho aka Memory Lane aka Piss Alley in Shinjuku, Tokyo. An area near Shinjuku Station with lots of izakaya and yakitori restaurants.

Food in Japan is excellent on the whole, but this day we just had bad luck! (And it's not really that bad...!). Don't let me put you off exploring Omoide Yokocho though - it's an interesting area with small, pedestrianised alleyways and tiny bars and restaurants, near the west exit of Shinjuku Station in Tokyo. While the food's not the best for vegetarians, I'd go for the ambience and nostalgic, authentic Japanese counter-style places to eat. Most of them are izakaya (Japanese pubs) that serve yakitori, kushiyaki, as well as street food, noodle places and bar snacks.
