Snapshots of our June school holidays - we stayed at home most of the time but still had a blast. We did a staycation where we dined in 100%, went hiking in Clementi Forest, cycled, played badminton, went on the Luge and rediscovered the fun in visiting Adventure Cove Waterpark all over again.

Even though there wasn’t any travelling involved, I think we did enjoy the school holidays. Kids woke up late almost every day and played video games to their hearts’ content. And among all of these, we still managed to spend time together. In the end, it’s how we make the best of everything despite how COVID has disrupted our normal routines.

Now, please excuse me while I emo with my kids before school starts tomorrow. 😅

其實出現初老症也不用擔心，人需要成長，成長自然會有不同的想法及需要，與其擔心「我老了」，不如優雅地老去，成熟是另一種美。

Feeling old?
As the saying ‘every three years is a generation gap’ goes, someone who has graduated would become a so-called uncle or auntie in the blink of an eye after working for just a few years. The person would then develop some habits that would cause him or her to feel old. Here are 30 habits that would make you feel you are getting old. Can you relate to them?

☐Reminisce your younger days
☐Wish to go home right after work
☐Wake up early even during the holidays
☐Doze off easily when lying on the sofa
☐Do not enjoy travelling in a group
☐Enjoy hiking more than shopping
☐Do not opt for buffet restaurant anymore when dining with friends

☐Always have medicine/ointment by your side
☐Love drinking sugar-free beverages/always feel drinks are too sweet

☐Have to rest for a week after staying up late for one night

Do not worry about developing these habits. After all, we need to grow. At different stages of life, we would think differently and have different needs. Instead of harping on the fact that we are getting old, we should learn to accustom to it and age in a graceful manner.
