Remembering the magic on her special day in the last 10 years.

I decided to do this video compilation for the kids every time a decade of their growing up passes by. Here's the first of the (hopefully) many more to come.

It's not just to reminisce how big or fast she has grown but also to be thankful for how far we have come together, how blessed we are to have our friends and family celebrating with us and how much we look forward to the years ahead. It is also a reminder for me on how much I love this baby girl - and I always will.

It was all about ice, snow, snowflakes and everything Frozen for this girl yesterday.

It's amazing how everything turned out so wonderfully. We watched Frozen II in the cinema, which she has been looking forward to months ago ever since she knew the movie was going to be released on her birthday. She dressed up as Elsa and was excited to wear her cape out, which is finally just nice for her height and she can truly feel like the queen all day. She received an Olaf plushie as a gift and couldn't let it go all day.

We got a chocolate cake for her and the Daddy managed to join us, much to her delight. She even received a hot chocolate on the house at Chocolate Origin and it had the cutest Olaf foam drawing on it, how thoughtful! We also stumbled into Frozen Wonderland by chance and realised it was the perfect backdrop for this birthday girl who ended her special night in the simplest yet happiest way. Awww, so blessed she is. And so are we to have her.

Oh, how was the movie? It is magical and just exceeded all our expectations. I didn't think I would feel so much for it but ended up my girls said they didn't cry while I did, and more than once lor. Aiyo,why we so emo one ah, @mmlittlee. This was despite the fact that we were in Dreamers Theatre and there were kids laughing, shouting and playing all around us. Haha. The girls said they wanna watch it again and I think we might just do so because it is that good. Go watch it and see if you love it as much too!

P.S. We are already learning the lyrics of the new songs already because they are so awesome and catchy, especially "Into the Unkown". Yup, guess I'll be hearing the song over and over again for the next few weeks in our home!

It's 21st Nov and you are officially 10! 🎂 Woohoo!

Happy birthday, my dearest baby girl. Can I still call you that even though you are now a young lady already?

You said your birthday always falls during the school holidays and it's a good thing cos' we get to spend the whole day together and celebrate as a family. Well, I'm bringing you all to watch Frozen 2 today so that's gonna be a treat!

Thank you for always being the sensible, independent and responsible one at home. You have the best memory - you know all the 20 digits of Pi by heart, you are neat and organised - you do your own homework and pack your table and schoolbag, you are creative - I am always amazed by your handlettering and even fashion designs, you are brave and kind - you love to hold insects and would move snails from the pavement to the grass so they wouldn't get stepped on, you are a great big sister whom the younger ones look up to and you are more than what I could have ever asked for.

We still have a long road ahead of us and while it will always be a challenging one full of ups and downs, I look forward to seeing how you are going to blossom and promise to try my best to be the Mama you deserve. Yup, a decade of being a mum and I still have lots to learn but all I know is each day with you is a gift that I deeply cherish.

娘が小学生の時にお友達のお家でおやつに出てきた大学芋。あまりのおいしさに娘みずからレシピを教えくださいとお願いして、メモして持ち帰ったレシピです。それ以来、パナソニック ビストロのグリル機能で作ったり、冷凍サツマイモで作ったりと、いろいろなやり方を経て作り続けている洋風大学芋。しみしみしたバターが効いていて食べ出したら止まらないおいしさです。芋好きの娘がイチオシのサツマイモメニューです。
*レシピ*
１．大きめのサツマイモ（450〜500g）1本を小さ目や長めの乱切りにし、10分ほど水に入れアク抜きをする。
２．フライパンにサラダ油 大さじ3を入れる。
３．（1）の水を切り、水気を拭き取りながら（2）に入れる。
４．蓋をし、火を付ける。ピチピチと音が鳴り出したら中火で10分ほど時々、上下を返しながら加熱する。我が家ではコンロに付いている160度の温度センサーをオンにして、7分弱加熱しました。
５．サツマイモに串がスッと通るようになったら、有塩バター 20g、砂糖 45g、醤油 15gを入れ煮詰め、からめる。
６．でけた。熱々がおいしいよ。

Daigaku-imo that came out as a snack at a friend's house when my daughter was in elementary school. It was so delicious that my daughter asked her friend's mother to share the recipe with her, and she wrote it down and brought it home. *Recipe*
1.Cut a large sweet potato (450-500g) into small or long chunks and soak in water for about 10 minutes to remove the lye.
2.Put 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan.
3.Drain the water from (1) and put it in (2) while wiping off the water.
4.Put the lid on and turn on the heat. When you hear a buzzing sound, heat it on medium heat for about 10 minutes, turning it upside down from time to time. In our case, we turned on the 160 ℃ temperature sensor on the stove and cooked for less than 7 minutes.
5.When a skewer goes through the sweet potato easily, add 20g of salted butter, 45g of sugar, and 15g of soy sauce ,boil down and entangle.
6.It's done. It's delicious to eat hot.
