On another note, I would like to share my experience at Vippasana. I attended a 10 day course at their meditation centre and the purpose was to gain some knowledge on how to manage my thought process better in order to have a happier and more focused mind. Vippasana is a meditation technique used to help one become aware of any sensations experienced and conditioning the mind and body not to react towards it. I hope to be able to keep practising it to develop rational thinking and avoid as much as I can to let any emotions cloud my judgements. The course is not religious and it is free to attend. You can offer a donation at the end to help keep the facility available to others who wish to experience this type of meditation. It was quite hard for me at times as the course is done in complete silence🙊 (meaning no communicating with others as I think it allows one to reflect on their thoughts), vegetarian diet🥗, fasting during dinner and meditating for 10 hours a day🙏. The day begins at 4am and ends at 9pm everyday. However I am glad that I managed to complete the course 😁✊👍
