[What time did you sleep on Chinese New years eve!]

👲In our custom we have to "stay up all night for new years eve"? Okay, maybe not all night, but at least until 12!
📌In chinese we call this 守歲 (Shǒusuì)
守:keep, protect
歲:age

Sounds quite funny right, but there's a deeper meaning behind.
For the elders, it means to say goodbye to the passed ages, to cherish the time you have left. For the youngers, it means "keeping the time" you have left with your parents, in hope to have more time with them.
