Some of the recommended dishes are:
🍣sashimi: the chef insisted that every slices of sashimi being dished out must have a certain level of thickness and serve with freshly grated wasabi (only rm35!)
🦆foie gras sushi: super thick and feels like a butter melting in your mouth

Back here at Wasabi Tei Japanese Cuisine @ Far East second time in a month!

Good to catch up with this face after SIX years! How time flies. Last time I saw him was when I interviewed him on Lush 99.5, and he had a 13 year old. Now, his boy is 19 and he's armed with 7-month-old TWINS!

Far East Plaza is such a gem of a mall, teeming with quirky shops so full of character that is hard to find in all the modernisation of today. But one thing it's got to be given credit for is it's food. Besides the Hainanese Chicken Rice place, I've recently discovered another special spot on the 5th floor.

Wasabi Tei Japanese Cuisine seats about 12 people at the counter, accepts only cash and serves authentic, well-priced Japanese food. I'm definitely including this as one of my go-tos when the craving hits!

Kaisen Tei opens at GSH Plaza and you can now enjoy kaisendon and curry rice in Raffles Place! We DIY our own healthy lunch with cubed sashimi and you get to choose from a variety of sauces, including wasabi wafu, yuzu, apple, kaisen sauce etc. Salad options are available as well, it's a healthy takeaway meal for diners on the go.

Just beside Kaisen Tei, there is Ju Hao which offers breakfast options like white bee hoon, maggi mee and chicken wings. You need to order their signature kopi too!
