Uniqlo力圖在疫情風暴中，超越對手H&M和Zara
🛎Asia’s top clothing retailer is betting it can emerge from the coronavirus storm in a better position than Western rivals, in part by focusing on China and continuing to build physical stores.
亞洲最大的服裝零售商押注自身能從新冠疫情風暴中脫穎而出，超越西方競爭對手，這在一定程度上是因為該公司專注發展中國市場，並持續開設實體門市。
👚Chief Executive Tadashi Yanai said the company’s base in the growing cities of emerging Asia leaves it plenty of room for growth. “This may finally be the turning point when we move from the age of the West to the age of Asia,” said Mr. Yanai, sporting a Uniqlo mask and sitting at a large conference table on the company’s executive floor. “Our hope is to become the world’s No. 1 apparel brand.”
首席執行長柳井正說，立足於亞洲新興經濟體不斷發展的城市令該公司獲得很大的增長空間。柳井正戴著Uniqlo口罩，坐在公司高階管樓層的一張大會議桌旁表示：「這可能終於成為我們從西方時代走向亞洲時代的轉捩點。我們希望成為世界第一的服飾品牌。」
