Popular beverage brand- Instea has recently rolled out food menu in their new cafe (expanded from the Instea outlet at Maccalister Road)- Bean & Cream. The food menu has a list of Western dishes, including Big Breakfast, Pasta, Toasts etc... prices are unexpectedly high though (we were shocked to find out that the Big Breakfast is priced at Rm 45.90). But price factor was not only the surprise, we were also shocked by the service. We waited an hour to realize that one of our orders was not recorded and the server did not bother to repeat or check with us after we have placed our order. We threw the white flag and could not be bothered to argue further. The only dish we had was Couscous Stuffed Sweet Potato- the combo was fine but the Couscous was a tad too salty on its own. For Rm 26.90, we thought it was way overpriced.

来自玻璃市50年代历史的老字号，传承三代人的故事，一份记忆中的童年美味，思源海南鸡扒，傳統不花哨，绝对是北马区最经典的海南西餐。

思源海南鸡扒是沿用思源茶室独制秘方, 只选用细嫩特大的去骨鸡扒肉，再配以南洋香料精心腌制，沾粉下锅油炸，并且搭配每日新鲜调配浓淡适中的醬汁，番茄，青豆和手切炸薯块等。酥脆的鸡肉和温润的酱汁融为一体，吃起来每一口都是满满的古早味！

海南面是属于比较深褐色比较偏向马来友族的烹调手法，用的是黄面条，加上鸡肉，鲜虾，菜心，浓稠度则稀而多汁。这海南面的食谱，是因为早期思源茶室的顾客都以三大民族为主，所以当年的厨师是根据马来友族的口味和习惯调制出来的。

Today,I ate and made new brand recipe using only rice cooker ( A rice cooker or rice steamer is an automated kitchen appliance designed to boil or steam rice. It consists of a heat source, a cooking bowl, and a thermostat ) to make Western-Style Octopus Rice with tomato and cheese, garlic and olive oil ( Filippo Berio is a brand of olive oils exported from Italy and made of oil from Italy, Greece, Spain and Tunisia. The brand is used for virgin, extra-virgin, and extra-light oils, and also for wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, pesto and olives ) and onion soup ( traditional Japanese soup consisting of a stock called "dashi" into which softened miso paste is mixed. Many ingredients are added depending on regional and seasonal recipes, and personal preference. ), All that exceed 5 Kg of pure weight . it was so delicious and tasty to celebrate a great family lunch！！！
