Belly painting time!
So the story is I had planned to do a belly painting session, same as what I did with the girls when I was pregnant with Asher, when I reached 36 weeks. We even went to Popular to get some new washable paints and I had found some sample drawings to share with the kids.
Well, life sure is unpredictable and we were all caught by surprise when the baby decided to make his way into the world at 35 weeks. I was thinking this painting session would just get shelved since we were all so busy soon after, until the little sister came to ask me "Can we still do the belly painting?" when I got back from the hospital.
At that point, I still looked 30 weeks pregnant so I was thinking why not? Haha. Yup, and it turned out that we had a truly unique belly painting session though the baby was already out. 开心就好, right?
I had a good time with these three when the baby was taking a long nap. It was my hope that they didn't feel neglected with the new addition and that they understood Mama still loves each of them very much. I let them take turns to draw anything they wanted and it was so sweet to see that their paintings all revolved around the same theme - the love for their baby brother.
