Culinary guru and Korean TV Star, Chef Hong Seok-Cheon has teamed up with AirAsia’s Santan Team to create his interpretation of his childhood comfort food, but with his own signature twist! I pre-booked my meal (cheaper than buying onboard, plus it comes with a free drink). Someone on my timeline had tried it and I was curious (read: sucker) - and it did not disappoint. It’s basically juicy chicken bites in a sweet, sticky and slightly spicy Korean sauce, served with steamed vegetables and fluffy jasmine rice. It comes with crispy fritters that you can sprinkle onto your dish. (I am so sorry. I was so lapar. I didn’t take a nice shot of the dish sebab I forgot!) To satisfy my sweet tooth, I also pre-ordered the Burnt Cheesecake. OMG. It’s sooo good! Smooth, creamy and not too sweet with a hint of lemon zest. I loved that it came with a scoop of airy whipped cream too as it really complemented the whole dessert. Happy birthday #bbb! Best tak @joelebosi?
