養生上要多食滋陰潤燥及水份高嘅食物,而補充身體水液,滋陰可以令啲火無咁勁架!
以下介紹幾種養生食材:
百合 ─ 性微寒
有養陰潤肺作用,仲可以止咳,清心安神,適合陰虛咳嗽,睡眠欠佳人士食用,炒菜煲湯煲糖水同樣好味!
雪耳 ─ 性平
有滋陰潤肺作用,口乾咽乾,皮膚乾十分適合。可以選擇同樣滋潤嘅配料一齊煮,例如雪梨,百合,加強功效。
枇杷 ─ 性凉
可以當生果食,煲糖水清肺化痰又試過未呢?多食枇杷可以改善口乾咽乾問題,潤燥功效一流。
沙參 ─ 性微寒
適合容易有虛火人士食用,有養陰,清肺,生津作用。凡有乾咳,流鼻血問題都可試試。

the 4th type (Yin defficient)
In the study of traditional chinese medicine (TCM), there are 9 different types body constitutions. For example,
the 4th type(Yin defficient) could be summed up as a "body lacking in hydration" which would have the following typical symptoms:
1)consistently dry mouth and nose and throat feels dry.
2)hands and feet feels warm, and dry stools or often constipated.
3)enjoys cold drinks.
4)has a outward but impatient temperament.
Previously, we saw how the Yang-type person is able to temper his/her Yang energy, but now
we will look at our Yin-type friends who are lacking in Yin energy.
What is Yin-energy? TCM believes the body's blood and fluids(saliva, secretions, sweat, etc) all
are part of the Yin-energy. A Yin-energy deficiency would lead to a body's symptoms
relating to dryness; dry mouth, dry nose, dry throat, warm feet and hands, dry stool(constipation). Yin-type
defficiency is basically a lack of hydration in the body which usually leads to syptoms of fever, insomnia, dry cough,
nosebleeds, etc. These conditions are exacerbated in hot or dry enviroment/weather.
Yin-energy difficient friends should always try to eat cooling(less heaty) and moist food that will boost
the body's Yin-energy as well as nourish the spleen. All in all, the goal is to increase body's hydration.
Also our friends should drink plenty of water regularly to keep up the hydration.
Avoid fried or spicy food and other similar food! It would also be better to have early nights.

咩係陰?中醫認為人體嘅血液,體液,口水,分泌等等,全部都係屬於陰,而陰虛則身體表現出嚟最主要症狀就係乾!乾!乾!
口乾鼻乾,喉嚨乾燥,手足心熱,大便乾燥,陰虛型就好似煲乾水嘅水煲咁,鍾意飲凍嘢兼且性情會容易急燥。
容易有虛熱、失眠、乾咳、流鼻血等問題,喺暑熱或乾燥天氣會更加嚴重。
