Does anyone remember the AIT@40 theme for August? That’s right, it was Security Cooperation Month! Last August, we launched the Indo-Pacific Security Fellows program, joined AIT Director Christensen on a visit to the Kee-Lung-class guided-missile destroyer and a U.S.-made AAV7 Assault Amphibious Vehicle, and announced 2.2 billion in new defense equipment sales to Taiwan. Director Christensen also gave a speech about his priorities for the U.S.-Taiwan security relationship and hosted a reception for the many Taiwanese alumni of U.S. military service academies. Well…we have decided to do it again! Throughout August, we will continue to highlight the many dimensions of U.S.-Taiwan security cooperation, past and present. 動画という体裁ですが、ほぼ音声だけのコンテンツなのでラジオとして、運転中、洗濯物でもたたみながら、料理中でもお聞きいただけます。

朝のニュース紹介で新型コロナの感染者数を説明していますが、タイのニュースや新型コロナ情報センターではติดเชื้อ（感染）という言葉で解説しており、ＰＣＲ検査陽性と感染を分けて説明はしていません。このためこの動画でも全てひとまとめに感染や感染者とだけ説明しています事ご了承ください。
