⚠️ 忽然運動
與朋友一窩蜂去跑馬拉松,或者因為受到奧運熱潮感染,突然報劍擊班或瘋狂游水,平日零運動人士的肌肉強度及韌帶彈性都比較差,忽然運動起來特別容易受傷,記得要循序漸進啊!
⚠️ 過度運動
運動雖好,但要注意身體能承受的程度,如果感到頭暈胸悶、呼吸不順、食慾不振、疲憊不堪、睡眠質素變差、身體持續疼痛、鬱悶易怒,感覺愈運動愈疲勞,就要思考是否過度運動帶來了不適。
⚠️ 忽略保暖
這個情況多在冬天發生,因預計做運動會發熱出汗,故只穿輕薄衣服外出,其實運動前後都要注意保暖,尤其運動出汗後毛孔打開容易感染風寒。
⚠️ 空肚做運動
想趕在上班前做運動,卻沒時間吃早餐,於是空着肚子做運動;血糖太低會導致頭暈及體力不支,時間很趕的話建議喝一杯米水打底。
⚠️ 運動後大吃一頓
辛苦過後想大吃一頓犒賞自己,運動後的確需要補充適當的熱量及營養,建議選項以優質蛋白質及碳水化合物為主,如果放肆大嚼肥甘厚味、煎炸油膩食物,運動就等於白做了。

Poor workout habits
⚠️ Exercise abruptly
Due to the excitement from the Olympics, some of us might start running marathons, sign up for fencing, or go swimming. Those who seldom exercise might risk damaging their muscles and ligaments if they engage in intensive sports all of a sudden. It is important to take it slow for a start!
⚠️ Exercise excessively
It is good to exercise, but we must know our limits. When we feel dizzy, experience chest tightness, breathing difficulties, appetite loss, fatigue, poor sleep quality, and continuous pain on the body, or become irritable, we should reconsider the way we exercise.
⚠️ Overlook the importance of keeping the body warm
This is a bad habit especially during winter. Some people tend to wear thin clothes, thinking that they will sweat after a workout session. It is important to keep the body warm because we might catch a cold more easily when the pores are expanded when we sweat.
⚠️ Exercise with an empty stomach
Instead of having breakfast, some of us want to spend time exercising before leaving for work. Exercising with an empty stomach might cause us to feel weak and dizzy because our blood sugar levels are low. If need be, drink at least a cup of rice water before working out.
⚠️ Indulge in a sumptuous meal after working out
We have the tendency to reward ourselves with good food after a round of strenuous exercise. We should eat appropriately to replenish the nutrients and calories, but our diets should be carbohydrate- and protein-based. Savoring deep fried and greasy foods would only defeat the purpose of working out.

TLDR: Did a program. Lost some weight. Feel great. Gonna celebrate with some burgerlab.
I've finally reached the end of my 3 month WildFit journey and as someone who has never been able to stick to a program or be disciplined about eating habits before, this has been a life changer.
In transforming my lifestyle, I've come to truly understand that the area of Health and Fitness is the foundation to a better quality of life. What you put in your body, how you treat it affects EVERYTHING from your intellectual life to emotional well-being to relationships.
I'm quite amazed at what 3 months could do as I was able to
- Lose 10kgs with MINIMAL to NO exercise.
- END my need and desire to consume alcohol.
- DESTROY my dependency and cravings for sugar and carbs. It's gotten to a point where I don't even have to control myself. Temptations aren't even a thing anymore.
- BREAK my caffeine addiction (honestly one of the best things I got out of the program)
- IMPROVE my quality of sleep (because of not consuming caffeine. Seriously that stuff can mess up your sleep)
- IMPROVE my nutritional intake which has made me feel amazing and awesome!
- Take on MORE in life. My life feels full :)
- Build solid healthy HABITS and MINDSETS that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
WildFit won't be for everyone. This ain't no MLM plug or hard sell on the program as everyone's different and there are many ways to get to a healthy lifestyle.
However, if you are feeling low or that life is lacking... Make a change or shift in your area of Health and Fitness. It doesn't have to be big but what you do NOW will definitely set things in motion and you'll find that everything gets better when you take care of your health and your body. Always remember that you are in charge of your physical destiny! And you can always make a change for the better :)

Always envision about picnic when we first thought about our our lilac theme.. Glad that my “partner in crime” @blackivory also love to do picnic..
We brought out our matchy stuff and went to our usual exercise place.. oh well we forgot that Macritchie has monkey everywhere 🐒🐒🐒🐒
I had my first episode with the monkeys there when i was going toilet just before my exercise and the monkey stole my Jo Malone perfume on the bag 🙈
This picnic was the second episode with the monkey there, luckily we managed to snap at least 10 shots with tripod just before i noticed 🐒🐒 two monkeys were approacing our bags that we placed afar from our picnic spot.. after that full drama started already 🙈🙉🙊
I was running through the mud with my bare feed to get our bags.. then back to our picnic spot and tried to pack as much as possible our picnic spread.. the monkeys were aiming our food! Then i quickly carry the food but a monkey was standing and chasing me 🐒 meanwhile @blackivory try to push one of the monkeys away with the umbrella..
It’s like a horror, i still remember how fierce monkey face while trying to grab food on my hand.. That when i saw 2 other monkeys came to join the fun! I told @blackivory to pack as quickly as possible and move to other place.. Luckily there are passerby shouting to the monkeys and distracted their attention..
On that very night i really had bad dream and can’t sleep just because the monkey hissing and chasing us still in my mind 😪
Oh well what a day!
On the side notes, congrats on @nanatangbakes on the opening your new shop @haengbok.cakeyo and arranging the cafe hopping and tasting around Kampong Bahru area..

In the past year, starting from January 2020 Sarah has been so disciplined.
She's not had any coffee, any Japanese food, any food that in Chinese medicine is cold for the body, sleep, exercise, sanity???
Food is particularly tough because we like eating fresh food but going to the wet market is rather difficult now.
We haven't been out much either so choosing what to eat can be quite difficult.
Now that confinement is over Sarah can practically eat anything she wants (not really)
But at least we can go out for maybe what is our favourite cuisine in the world, Japanese food!
I'm sure you've all heard it a million times before.
Please be careful when you go out for dinner, avoid large crowns, don't go out in a massive group, just be sensible❤️
