Giving in expectation of receiving
This is a trade undeserving to be called love.
.
We can stop giving if you think you are in a deficit in a relationship.
Or we can keep on giving without asking anything in return.
I can’t think of a better word than “ransom” forcing someone to trade against his will.

梧:屌講鴉片講到興起又同大家9吹得好開心,不如再同大家補充一下啲history 101——
1)其實在下之前個post係特登用「正式」呢個字的,香港其實一直以黎都唔係「正式」嘅鴉片轉口港,點解?第二次鴉片戰爭之後訂立嘅「天津條約」正式將鴉片進口合法化,而且訂咗幾個港口做條約港,但係並不包括香港;
2)咁點解咁多早期嘅所謂鴉片轉口歷史都有mention香港?屌,因為走私囉。透過條約港進口嘅鴉片要交稅,咁香港唔係條約港咪唔洗交稅囉。換言之,香港只係一個走私spot,即係for tax evasion purpose only;
3)清朝嘅鴉片進口條數係天津條約之後最勁,而根據現有嘅data,當時最勁嘅鴉片轉口港係上海;
4)大家可能會奇怪,點解英國同其他國家會係咁將鴉片「出口」到當時嘅清朝?其實因為當時嘅茶葉trade嘅龐大需求,呢啲歐洲國家對清朝幾乎全部都係trade deficit,為咗balance返條數,所以將鴉片「出口」到清朝;
5)樓下有個網友講得啱,真係唔好用現代人類嘅思維去諗呢件事,因為對嗰啲人黎講,當年嘅鴉片其實只係其中一種tradable goods,到20世紀初先叫做真係ban鴉片貿易;
6)第一次鴉片戰爭之前,大部分嘅鴉片進口其實係透過印度到廣州進入清朝。香港係第一次鴉片戰爭嘅時候被英國佔領,然後所謂嘅開埠係來自南京條約,呢一點於1996年黃子華已經同大家分享過;
7)到太平天國時期呢,其實home grown嘅鴉片已經勁過進口鴉片條數鳥;

Allen Iverson scored enough points to catch Shaquille O'Neal but not enough for the Philadelphia 76ers to catch the Charlotte Hornets.
Iverson scored 39 points to take over the league scoring lead from O'Neal but the Hornets found the range in overtime and dealt the 76ers a 117-110 loss that dumped them into seventh place in the Eastern Conference.
Elden Campbell scored seven of his 18 points in overtime for the Hornets, who blew a 21-point first-half lead and needed a reverse dunk by Eddie Jones off an airball by Chucky Brown to force the extra session with 2.9 seconds left in regulation.
"We missed our free throws in the fourth quarter (5-of-9) and missed a big box-out at the end to win the game," Philadelphia coach Larry Brown said. "We talked about boxing out during the timeout. Eddie Jones was incredible for them."
"That was luck. I saw the ball was short," said Jones, who scored 28 points and did a credible job on Iverson.
Iverson had given the 76ers a 100-98 lead with a 3-pointer with 6.8 seconds to go. But he scored only four points in overtime, missing 21-of-35 shots and 7-of-16 free throws overall, as his play resembled the wild offensive game he displayed as a rookie.
"The kid is awesome," Hornets interim coach Paul Silas said. "They ran plays and set great picks for him and he made us pay."
"In overtime, they made some shots and we missed some," Iverson said. "We just didn't execute like we'd like to."
Nevertheless, Iverson is averaging 26.61 points while O'Neal, the superstar center of the Los Angeles Lakers, is at 26.47. On Wednesday, Iverson's 76ers host the Detroit Pistons and O'Neal's Lakers entertain Portland.
If the Sixers (27-22) win, they will be no lower than seventh in the East. They could finish sixth if Milwaukee (28-21) loses at New Jersey or as low as eighth if they lose and New York (26-23) defeats Miami.
"Seventh or eighth means we are still in the playoffs," said Sixers center Matt Geiger, who had 22 points and 13 rebounds but was saddled by foul trouble in trying to defend Campbell in overtime. "We played well enough to get in. ... We will just have to get started tonight with playoff basketball. It is upon us."
David Wesley had 19 points and 10 assists, Bobby Phills scored 17 points and Eldridge Recasner added 16 for Charlotte, which was eliminated from the playoff race Monday but bounced back to beat Philadelphia for the first time in three meetings this season. The Hornets scored the most points against the 76ers this season after combining for only 136 in the first two games.
"We know we're a playoff team," said Jones, who was acquired in a mid-season trade. "We may not be in the playoffs, but we know we're a playoff team."
After a 4-11 start that led to the resignation of coach Dave Cowens, Charlotte (25-24) has gone 21-13 under Silas and visits Boston on Wednesday.
"It's an important game," Silas said. "We're going to do all we can to win it. It would be nice to finish the season on a winning note."
Campbell opened the overtime scoring with a free throw to give the Hornets the lead for good and Wesley drilled a 3-pointer. Philadelphia's Aaron McKie made a jumper but Campbell responded with a nine-footer for a 106-102 lead with 2:59 to go.
Iverson made two free throws but Campbell hit another jumper. McKie's basket cut the deficit to 108-106 with 1:56 left before Phills, Campbell and Jones scored in a 38-second span to seal it at 114-106 with 43 seconds to play.
"We went to Elden a lot late in the game trying to foul Geiger out," Silas said. "He made several big shots in the overtime."
Chucky Brown scored 14 points and Campbell grabbed 11 rebounds for the Hornets, who shot 47 percent (39-of-83) from the field and made 32-of-39 free throws. Campbell and Wesley made six steals each and Jones added five and four blocks.
Rookie Larry Hughes scored 13 points and McKie and Eric Snow added 12 apiece for the Sixers, who shot 45 percent (42-of-94) and held a 48-44 rebounding edge. George Lynch grabbed eight rebounds and Snow handed out eight assists.
The Hornets shot 57 percent (12-of-21) and held the Sixers to just 27 percent (6-of-22) in the first quarter, opening a 36-16 lead. Jones scored 12 points in the period and his dunk gave Charlotte its largest lead at 49-28 with 4:09 left in the second quarter.
The Sixers closed to 58-42 at halftime and Iverson and Geiger scored nine points each in the third quarter to help cut the deficit to 77-74. Hughes' three-point play gave Philadelphia an 80-79 lead with 10:08 left in the fourth quarter.
"If we could have guven the energy we gave in the second half in the beginning of the game, we could have won this game," Brown said. "We can't expect to play this way during the playoffs."

Allen Iverson helped give Denver coach George Karl his 800th win, finishing with 44 points and 10 assists in the Nuggets' 112-98 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Thursday night.
Karl was handed a Denver jersey with No. 800 on it along with the game ball after beating his former team to become only the 12th coach in NBA history to reach the milestone. He's 800-555 in 19 seasons.
Iverson had his highest-scoring game since being acquired by Denver in a trade with Philadelphia on Dec. 19. His season high is 46 against Chicago on Nov. 24.
Earl Boykins added 24 points, and Reggie Evans had a season-high 18 rebounds.

Seattle's Damien Wilkins matched his career high with 26 points, and Luke Ridnour finished with 16 points for the Sonics.
Seattle cut a 13-point third quarter deficit to three, 79-76, but Denver closed out the quarter on a 6-0 run _ all by Boykins _ to take a 85-76 lead. Denver opened a 16-point lead midway through the fourth and coasted to its fourth win in five games.
Another major snowstorm blanketed Denver on Thursday afternoon, but there was no postponement this time. Denver's game against Phoenix on Dec. 20 had to be postponed due to blizzard conditions that shut down the airport and forced Gov. Bill Owens to declare a statewide disaster emergency.
Owens declared another disaster emergency Thursday _ the storm was expected to dump close to 18 inches of snow _ but the Nuggets and Sonics still played in front of a little more than half-filled arena.
The Nuggets and Sonics both planned to make dashes for the airport after the game to get out of town for their road games Friday night. The Nuggets will play in New Orleans, and Seattle will travel to Minnesota.
Seattle star Ray Allen didn't make the trip to Denver after his wife gave birth to a boy Wednesday, but may rejoin the team Friday night in Minnesota. Allen has been bothered by a right ankle injury that's kept him out of three of the last five games.
Denver's Marcus Camby missed his third straight game with a fractured right finger on his shooting hand. With Nene out as well with a right knee injury, the Nuggets gave Jamal Sampson his third career start. He finished with seven points and nine rebounds.
Denver used its fourth different lineup in four games since Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith were suspended for their roles in a brawl against the New York Knicks on Dec. 16. Denver is 3-1 without Anthony and Smith.
The fact Karl's milestone win came against a Seattle team that ran him off after the 1997-98 season didn't make it all the more sweet. Karl said he no longer has any resentment toward the franchise he helped lead to the NBA finals in 1996.
"I'm just kind of humbled by the opportunity to win 800 games," Karl said.
Karl's first win was Nov. 15, 1984, against Atlanta when he was coaching Cleveland. He'd started the season 0-9 and never thought he'd reach this type of accomplishment.
"When I first started, I thought 250 (games) would be great," he said. "I thought 250 and you'd retire into a college job and coach into the sunset."
Notes:@ Sonics F Rashard Lewis missed his third game since having surgery on his right hand. He injured a tendon against Dallas on Dec. 20. ... Karl was 384-150 in 6 1/2 seasons with the Sonics. ... Chris Wilcox received his second technical for arguing a call with 18.3 seconds left in the third quarter and was ejected. He finished with nine points and seven rebounds.

Now that they are finally healthy, the Golden State Warriors think they can make a run at a playoff spot.
Baron Davis scored 22 points, and the Warriors took advantage of Carmelo Anthony's absence to beat the Denver Nuggets 110-96 on Wednesday night.
All five starters scored in double figures for the Warriors (28-35), who overcame a 12-point second-quarter deficit and took control of the game with a 14-4 outburst to start the third quarter. The Warriors were 16-of-34 from 3-point range, including four each by Jason Richardson and Stephen Jackson.
"They've all had their shots at us when haven't been together," Warriors coach Don Nelson said. "It's been a long time getting here, but I like the way the team's playing. Everyone's fired up to have a full squad."
Davis, who has missed 18 games, had nine assists and five rebounds. Jason Richardson, who missed 31 games, had 16 points, six rebounds and four assists.
But Nelson singled out recent addition Jackson, who has only been with the team for 19 games after coming over in a trade with Indiana, as the key to this win. Jackson had 18 points and eight assists, despite being hampered by tendinitis in his left knee and a troublesome left big toe.
"Jackson did a really good job in the second half on Allen Iverson," Nelson said. "I didn't even know if I'd have him in the second half. Once I put him in, I wasn't going to take him out because I knew he'd stiffen up."
Al Harrington, who scored 20 points to go along with nine rebounds, added three 3-pointers.
"They can really shoot the ball," Nuggets coach George Karl said. "We gave them their strength way too often with the corner 3, which they like to shoot."
Iverson led Denver (29-30) with 35 points, but only surprise starter DerMarr Johnson joined him in double figures with 15. Anthony, the NBA's leading scorer, remained in Denver after the birth of his first child.
"I thought we had a great game going until about the four-minute mark of the second quarter," Karl said. "They got back into the game, and in the second half, we never got into an offensive rhythm. We never got A.I. into the game like we did in the first half."
Iverson had only 11 points after halftime.
"I didn't finish like I did in the first half," Iverson said. "I just struggled for whatever reason, at the wrong time of the game."
Iverson helped the Nuggets open a 48-36 lead with 3:54 remaining in the second quarter. The Warriors used the 3-pointer to get back in the game, making four in a 16-3 run that gave them a 54-53 lead.
Davis made three free throws after being fouled on a desperation 3-pointer with 0.6 seconds left in the half, giving Golden State a 59-58 lead.
Iverson cooled in the third quarter, missing his first five shots, and the Denver offense disappeared along with his. The Nuggets were just 4-of-23 in the period while the Warriors seized control.
Golden State stretched its lead to 93-73 midway through the fourth quarter. The Nuggets cut it to 98-89 with 3:08 left, but got no closer.
The Warriors, plagued by injuries all season, are suddenly feeling confident.
"The last three games, we've been playing together, playing as a team," Richardson said. "We're playing at a high level right now."
Game notes
Anthony missed the game to be with his fiancee, MTV's LaLa Vazquez, who had the couple's first child earlier Wednesday. Kiyan (pronounced Kai-ann) Anthony arrived weighing 5 lbs., 9 oz. and is 18 1/2 inches long. Warriors coach Don Nelson said the Warriors are "still in the hunt," despite his statement last week that the team wasn't going to get to postseason. Nelson said that quote was taken out of context. Johnson didn't get off the bench against New Orleans on Tuesday night. He finished with 12 points in 30 minutes Wednesday.
