[Paris pastry shop / 巴黎甜點店] Boneshaker Doughnuts(中文請按see more)
Paris is truly becoming a global city in terms of food landscape. More and more International cuisines and food are settling in Paris. The American food is one of the best examples. After the burger mania, sweet treats like cookies and doughnuts are taking over the city. Boneshaker is one of the very first who started making and supplying donuts to local specialty coffee shops. They just opened their own boutique 3 weeks ago. Situated near metro Sentier, in a lively neighborhood surrounded by loads of cool shops, restaurants, and bars, including Jean Hwang Carrant, Lockwood, Lemon in Paris, Restaurant Frenchie (and the whole group), Boutiques Terroirs d'Avenir, etc.
It's hard to imagine just a few years ago, it was super difficult to find them here. I had some real (seriously!) and good donuts this morning with Lavielocale, a talented friend who just launched her
就食物而言,巴黎一直都是一個流行來得很慢的城市。台北十年前已經風靡過的美式漢堡旋風,在巴黎可是三年前才剛剛發生。漢堡之外,慢慢也開始出現美式餅乾與甜甜圈。很難想像才不過幾年前,在巴黎除了大量的食品工業製甜甜圈外(在超市販賣),幾乎不可能在街頭找得到(麵包店偶爾有填了果醬或巧克力餡的beignets)。和精品咖啡店一起,現在這些美式、英式的點心在巴黎也越來越常見,這對住在巴黎的所有國際人士來說,真是一個好消息;-)
今天我和好朋友一起去的這家甜甜圈專賣店「Boneshaker Doughnuts」,是巴黎甜甜圈專賣的先驅,他們的甜甜圈供應許多精品咖啡店,越來越受歡迎之後,在三週前終於在Sentier*這裡開立了自己的店面。店主是來自美國與愛爾蘭的couple Amanda與Louis,他們非常親切友善,我和朋友也在這裡嚐到了好久不見的好滋味♥。可以想見巴黎未來的美食地圖將會越來越豐富多采,很是期待呢!
*在地鐵Sentier站附近的Rue du Nil與Rue d'Aboukir,可說是這幾年巴黎美食圈最有活力、最多話題的兩條街,有帶起巴黎「小酒館美食學」(bistronomy)風潮的Frenchie group、搜羅法國各地最好食材的Terroir d'Avenir、也有巴黎最好的餅乾店Jean Hwang Carrant(美籍台裔的老版娘超級可愛親切!)、原精品咖啡店加酒吧Lockwood、冰島果汁吧Lemon等,是我在巴黎最愛的區域之一。
